There are several different great shampoo/conditioners. It really depends on your own hair and how you want it to feel. I alternate my hair care in three week cycles. One week, I will use a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner system (I prefer Chi systems line called "Transformation Shampoo and Transformation Treatment". They provide a great balance of moisture and thermal protection/treatment for dry brittle ends.) After that week, I will use a restructuring shampoo/conditioner system. I prefer Pantene Relaxed and Natural line for this. A third week I will deep condition/hot oil treatment. Most of the time I use pure olive oil and a heating cap. If you aren't interested in having more than one system, I would recommend the Chi line. They are a little pricey, but worth it because they provide the thermal treament/protection as well as a moisture balance in the conditioner.

Panteen Pro-V relaxed and natural works miracles. I colored my hair once about 3 years ago and i am convinced that the entire line of relaxed and natural, (Shampoo, Conditioner, Setting Lotion, Daily Moisterizing Conditioner & Hair sheen) saved my hair. Begin using it, it really works. It leaves the hair moisturized, it smells good and it works wonders. I also grease my scalp with Palmers Cocoa Butter, my grandmother told me that it thickens the hair and it really does. It's very light and doesn't weigh your hair down like traditional hair grease. Also try (Natures's Bounty-Biotin) It promotes healthy hair, skin and nails. Take it from someone that gets compliments constantly on my hair, this stuff works. All you can do is try.....Ask me anything else u want to know about this stuff.

Optimum shampoo and leave-in conditioner is great. Also, for the dryness, get some hair cholestorol. I use it - just put a lot in your hair, put on a small warm, damp towel, and a shower cap for like 30 minutes. RInse, and style. It works.

Pantene (for black people) never worked for me. It made my hair really brittle and coarse. I also suffer from dry hair and nexxus shampoo and conditioners have been really good. I also like Motions CPR conditioner.

I use Infusium 23 Moisturologie. And it works wonders in my hair. I also don't really like the feel of hair grease so I use Kemi Oil (yu can get it at cvs) and my hair is really soft.

carol's daughter - check the website. No better product out there apart from vaseline tonic - both worth trying.
