I don't know who did it. However, I am pretty sure that it's not your God.
Unless you could prove that Genesis is written by God.

So what testable, physical, peer reviewable, critical evidence do you have that a creator must have created the universe?
Let us have a look at what the proponents of creationism have proposed:
Intelligent design - that some things in the universe are too complex to exist and must have been created, what the hell is too complex? something that the human mind has yet to understand?, spare me. If everyone believed this there would be no science or invention - the flight of a bird is too complex, let's not study it and accept it as a creator's handywork. Ludicrous.
Irreducible complexity - that there are some complex structures of organism that cannot function without the sum of its parts - that removing a single part will render that structure useless. I'm afraid that has already been proven wrong with the bacterial flagellum - that of which the proponents believe is too complex and must have been created. Removal of several proteins which form the flagellum have not rendered it useless, but has created a pore like structure that can be found in many other bacteria, used to inject toxins into cells.
So, there has been no convincing, scientifically acceptable alternatives to evolution and the big bang. You're also confused over the term theory too - in science it is not a hunch or guess as you put into context, it is an idea supported by evidence, observation, and inference.
Big Bang - Cosmological redshift, background microwave radiation, the fact that galaxies are all moving away from a single point which can be traced back and that space/time is expanding.
Evolution - radioactive dating is a tried and tested technique, atoms do not lie, the decay rate is a constant, geological strata cannot be manufactured in the space of thousands of years. Fact - the earth IS 4.7 billion years old - ask any geologist. Drug resistant bacteria are KILLING people around the world - the very product of evolution - their existence is by man's own doing, our overuse of antibiotics have forced them to undergo natural selection and evolution.
You have no right to criticise anything of science , the only thing that is crumbling are your nonsense non-scientific arguments for creationism. Find out what a scientific theory is, show me the evidence, observations and inferences for so-called creationism rather than mindless blind faith.
Theories are the core of science - denounce them and you denounce everything you have today.

The Bible was written at least one hundred years after all of the events in it. That means that the Bible was passed by word of mouth for generations. Have you tried the telephone game with some friends before? The one were you say a single sentence and they pass it around, and by the time it comes back to you it is entirely different? The Bible is 921 pages long. And it was written one hundred years later. By word of mouth, it was kept alive. Think about it.
I don't say that there is no possibility of something making the universe. I do, however, say that it is pompous of anybody to claim that they know beyond a shadow of a doubt how it happened. We have no proof or evidence of how the universe began. At all. I say that anything is a possibility, even that the universe is constant and never ending.
However, I will not accept any of the religions. They immediately assume that God did it, and then elaborate from there on what said God did. This assumes knowledge of how the universe came to be. Knowledge that not even the humble bacterium have that first populated the Earth (by theory; we don't have anything older than them besides rocks).
I won't use rocks to say 'well, the earth ain't 6,000 years old'. I'll use ice. And fossils. Lotta fossils.
As Lewis Black said: "Whenever someone says the Earth is 6,000 years old, I pick up a fossil and say 'fossil', and if they keep talking, I throw it just over their head."

Sorry Gilbert, I entertained you last time but this time I must agree with those before me. The burden of proof is on you. Because the conversation cannot be continued without first establishing what a god is, are you talking about the xtian god, the muslim god, the hindu god, what god are you talking about? Then we need your testable evidence that your god actually exists. Now if your trying to prove everyone wrong by making the conjecture that if we cant prove you wrong then we just proved for you that there is a god then I'm sorry this is that faulty logic I told you about in your other question. If your in a conversation the person making the claim has the burden of proof, not us. If your going to make a statement like that try establishing your case first. Your offering things you think shouldn't be discussed, such as the age of rocks, what makes that controversial? Why are they wrong, why is the big bang theory wrong, just saying they are wrong doesn't make you right. You make a lot of claims and you need to back your claims up. Try again.

Hilarious; you ask for intelligent answers even as you exclude them.
We can see the light and hear the sound from the Big Bang. What more do you want? Do you have a picture or recording of your God?
Radiometric dating is not in doubt, and in any case, there are tree-ring records with annual resolution back to 6700 B.C. which, if nothing else, blows the 4004 B.C. date of Bishop Ussher and Creationists out of the water.
It would have been more of a miracle if life had not originated on earth since the difference between a ‘living’ and a ‘non-living’ molecule is no more than a biochemical reaction based on reasonably well understood natural processes.
A lucky fluke is creation of the physical universe at the hands of a non-physical imaginary being.
We may not know everything, but we do understand much of the physics of our universe; things like friction, motion, and action-reaction. These scientific ‘theories’ tell us that you cannot, simultaneously, move a physical object and have the ability to pass through it in ghost-like manner.
Therefore, any entity messing in our world has to play by our rules. If there were a God, it could not manipulate our universe without leaving physical traces that would allow us to track down his interfering butt and kick the living snot out of him. So, if you can produce some verifiable God-snot, we’ll back you all they way.

If the Universe is created to illustrate by using the christian seen a brilliant bang 'and then there became into easy'. There may well be information of that interior the form of the universe. Kinetic potential in a vacuum might advise the project from the explosion might save occurring a similar speed and direction indefinitely till it collided with different be counted. regrettably for the God believers, the present observations from the Hubble deep container telescope, rules out the opportunity of a brilliant bang through fact the introduction of the Universe. that's plenty plenty larger than we first concept, for all intents and purposes, that's countless in length. There are rivers of galaxies all moving into distinctive guidelines and speeds. some are dashing up and a few are slowing down. there's no introduction element what so ever. Why might a God create all that for an conceited egotistical fallacious bare ape. communicate approximately delusions of grandeur and overblown worth. lol If there became into this type of difficulty as an all understanding God, the place may well be our unfastened will if our lives are predetermined by using being be conscious of. life may well be like gazing a movie without thank you to alter the plot. might you intentionally create fallacious, thinking, feeling beings and not save direct seen obtrusive touch with your creations. might you inflict genetic ailment, deformed, deaf, blind, people in case you have been cabable of coming up acceptable beings. God is a blanket expression to lable lack of understanding, no longer a widespread invisible sky fairy to need upon. *winks* working in direction of Shaman...quantum physcis rocks

Well, my narrow-minded Stone Age friend, since you reject science in favor of the delusion known as "faith," there is no purpose served by pointing out any evidence provided by science as clearly, your intent is to reject anything that is dissonant with your irrational, primitive beliefs. But don't even start by making misleading and insulting comments against scientists and then babbling, "This is a fact."
You and others like you are not interested in facts. All you care about is belief. I could just as easily waste weeks trying to prove to you that the world is round, that it orbits the sun, and that slavery is wrong by pretty much every single way you consider it. But you don't want to hear that. That might force you to open your mind and perhaps even demonstrate something in the way of personal evolution.
The world has left you behind and your religion is well on its way to extinction. That's why all the Neanderthals are jumping up and down and screaming louder and louder. The inevitable is going to run you down like a steamroller.

I second what J.P. said.
If god knows everything, he knows what he will do in the "future" (in any dimension, not necessary the time dimension). He must have known that from the very start of his own existence. Thus god's actions are predestined. God is tied by faith, he has no free will. If god has no free will god is not omnipotent. Another way to put it is that to be able to make plans and decisions one must act over time. If god stands above time he can not do that and has no free will. Indeed, if god stands above all dimensions god is dimensionless - a singularity, nothing, void!
Besides there can exist no free wills at all if god is almighty. If you had a free will, god wouldn't know what you would do tomorrow and wouldn't be omnipotent.

You want evidence, but then tell us we can't use the evidence? Only Christians think science of dating rocks is controversial. Only Christians think the Big Bang is unvalidated. Have you heard about the background radiation? The fact that galaxies are still moving outwards? I guess you think that all those fossils were planted by atheist?
I can't debate you. You don't want to debate. You want to ask questions and reject the answers so that you can say to yourself, "See, they can't explain evolution!"
If you really wanted to know, you would go to your local library, read a REAL science text. And then another, and a another. All the information you ask for can be found easily. But, you really don't want to be bothered with research.

You know, your last paragraph pretty much proves that you can't be convinced, so why bother? If you "strongly believe without a shadow of doubt" that God exists and designed the world, then obviously nothing we can say will change your mind, so I don't know why you even bother posting this.
In any case, it's not our job to present evidence that the universe evolved WITHOUT the help of God -- show me some evidence that the universe evolved WITH the help of God and then we'll have a discussion.

You wouldn't need 'FAITH' if you had proof that god existed.
Where did god come from?
God did not make man, man made god.
What happened to all the other gods ... Greek mythology has lots of them..oh...Mythology..
If everyone knew that this is all we get, there is no heaven, would the people do more to protect our country and change things? I think so..religion was invented so that people could be controlled. Put the fear of god into them...if you don't do what 'he' says, you will be torn to bloody bits or burned in hell forever........nice dude!
Its enough to have to worry about this government we have..
