Wow! How interesting. (According to a Spanish linguist who is licensed by the government to provide official translations, the word "magister" doesn't exist.) It is a So. American term.

Magister de Juventud= Masters Degree in Youth Studies.

Licenciado en Sociologia = Masters in Sociology (Spain)

But the Latin Americans here say that it means: Bachelors.

To translate the adjective, "docente" properly, you need to give more of the context.
Be careful: Know your audience!

Youth Master, BA in Sociology , and Faculty

It is difficult to translate word by word because some of the times you can not transalte the word but the meaning of the message.

I hope this helps, I am a native from Mexico and an experienced translator/interpreter.

I newver heard the word "magister" but I guess it relates to "magisterio" which means teacher..

de Juventud ="youth"
magister de juventud could mean Youth Education
Licenciado means "graduate" like to a college graduate, and sociologia is sociology.

Docente means teaching, or educational.

There's a great new invention for such things, it's called "the internet"! =) Try Babelfish first, as the previous replier suggested, it's the best translator I've ever found.

Failing that, just search for "Spanish to English translation" in Google or your favorite search engine. There are only several hundred or so out there! =)
