Christians today thrive on being persecuted and they voice their opinions stronger and louder when the small minority (those that believe in nothing) speak out for whatever reason. Why waste time as an Atheist to discredit when it only makes it that much more miserable for yourselves? I can put up with Atheists all day long--many of them are much better people than those who just call themselves Christians. I just wanted to let those that believe in nothing know that they actually are a stepping stone for Christians. If this is just a game for you, then I hope it is fun cause I will play as long as you like. I will try my best not to belittle you for your non conviction for anything accept nothing and will show you that there is a reason for being here and it is not to see who dies with the most toys, or who wrote the best book, or who never killed anyone and is thus a good person.

Just one objection: why do you assume that we, Atheists, believe in NOTHING?...NOT-believing in YOUR God, doesn't mean not-to believe in anything my friend;)....We do believe in ANYTHING actually existing, and, furthermore, we do have a conscience too; so, I think you should stop considering us as shallow people with no values as that's not true at all.

Christians should lead by example. Christians love everyone, despite their beliefs. I am a Christian, my girlfriend is an agnostic. I never judge her or look down on her. I see that my religion does shine light on her from time to time. I speak with her about prayer and such, when she asks for advice, but I never condemn her. many people would say I am not a true Christian for being with her, but there you go judging again. My God is a pleasant God, and the only one who will judge, whenever that day may come. We as humans have no more insight on things than anyone else. Our different paths lead us to enlightenment or misery. Everyone's story is not the same along that path. Atheist should not be judged, but loved, more than anyone else. jesus would not hate anyone, he never lead any armies. Peace to all of us on the third rock from the Sun. We are all in this together. Evil is in fact among us, as well as good. The most evil will be disguised, not right in your face, so be careful who you are demonizing.

Don't atheists have as much right to voice why they think religion is folly as Christians have to evangelize all over the place? Atheists by the way may now represent the largest minority in the US. They may actually outnumber fundamentalist Christians by some polls. This is just the US which is running against the trend of an affluent democracy in that religion is much more diminished in other countries with this profile. Atheists just aren't as vocal or pushy a group or as unified in their outlooks as fundamentalists. As others have pointed out atheism just means a lack of faith or belief in God(s)/Goddess(es), not that we don't believe in other ideals. If you have proof of some predetermined reason for our lives other than naturalistic or proof of Gods please enlighten us.

Understanding = Grace glory: Solomon: Proverbs 4.
Atheists vs X-ians: Neither have the understanding.
Both sides of sides WAR: inducted to hall of shame;
For it is as disastrous to win a war as to lose a war.

War? What is it good for? Absolutely Nothing!
It's friend only to the Under-Taker: Law.

The evidence does NOT lie(law) NOR take sides.
The evidence simply makes something "evident":
that no man is justified by law in the sight of God.

POINT:
Grace can't lie(law) nor die(law). Law Law does both.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

"I'll fake friendship with you if you'll see it my way." That's the attitude that'll win us over!

Those with a superiority complex see everyone as stepping stones--not just Atheists.

And one more time (man, I wish this would sink in): Atheists do not believe in God. That's it and that's all. We laugh, cry, love, hate, and feel all the same things that you do. We're not a different species! Please tell me there are other things in your life that you believe in other than God. If there isn't, you have my sympathy.

Is this the more-adult equivalent to "Nah nah-nah boo-boo! You're a poopy-head!" Because it seems to me that it is. Passive-aggressiveness is decidedly unhealthy.

Also, get a dictionary, bucko. Atheists believe in a lot of things; god/s just aren't among them. This whole "those that believe in nothing" stuff is garbage.

People who thrive on persecution have a martyr complex, which means that they are insane or at least emotionally immature.

"(those that believe in nothing) "
"those that believe in nothing"
"your non conviction for anything accept nothing "

Sigh. You're either an idiot or a compulsive liar.

Would you care to let us know which it is? I can't tell whether I should pity you or be angry at you. Let us know, so we can treat you fairly.

Why would you need to "discredit" other faiths, as you put it. If you're Atheist great, be Atheist. What's this need to convince others to agree with you that their beliefs and the beliefs of their ancestors are just plain wrong?

Atheists understand how evil christians are, and how their persecution complex allows them to be holy while persecuting others.
