I used to buy nice lingerie when I was with my boyfriend, but he wasn't into it at all and said it was a waste of money. One time, on holiday, I bought a lovely little two piece, and pranced infront of him, but ended up sat down next to him while he watched Sky Sports News and got stoned. I ended up texting my best friend feeling like a failure that I hadn't looked enticing enough. I'm slim, and have a good figure.
He said (when we got home and I asked him) that he'd rather me naked than in something sexy.
Is this normal? I don't know wether to bother with the next one... I thought guys liked things like that?

I do... If my girlfriend was prancing around in lingerie I wouldn't be getting stoned. Then again, I don't smoke anyway...

Girl... listen to your husband. Communication is VERY important in a loving relationship, and he IS trying to communicate with you, but you are... NOT LISTENING!!!
He told you... that he prefers you naked. So then, it's a simple as that. But are you listening??? Nope. You are not listening. He's telling you EXACTLY what he wants, or needs, and you're totally ignorng him. Totally. So... WHY?
Maybe you're hard-headed. I dunno. But you must be if you're not listening to him. He struggles hard to earn money to keep you happy and a roof over your heads, and what do you do? You go out wasting your time and his hard-earned money, or your hard-earned money... for something he couldn't care less about.
So, is it no wonder that he's not turned on? You wasted good time. You wasted good money. And you ignored him when he told you... he prefers you natural and naked. But... you ignored him. So, 'your' problem is... 'what'? You tell me.
No, lingerie means nothing to many men. It doesn't do anything for me, either. Really. Why would a woman, already so beautiful, try so hard and expensively to make herself even 'more beautiful', when that doesn't really work??? All that you are doing is covering up the beauty that your man ALREADY fully appreciates!!! Ummm... duh.
Are you listening- yet?
My suggestions; Do that- stop wasting money that serves no positive end. During regular times... perhaps wear even more clothes, so that when he does finally see you naked, he will be even more excited :-)
To conclude- you've got to learn to listen. He's not being mean to you. He's just... being truthful and honest with you.
But what are you doing? You are not trusting him... as he gives you the truth. But why... only you can say.
Dress up- for yourself. But undress... for him. It's a simple thing. Try it :-) You'll be a lot happier... once you accept the truth of the facts in this :-D

Almost always they like thinks like that.
Don't get bothered and upset. Your bf loves you but he is not into those kind of things.
I had similar problems with mu ex. I'm a highly sexual person, but he's not at all. He likes sex, but he doesn't experiment at all. I remember, once I wore something sexy and set next to him while he was watching television (sounds familiar to you :) ) and waited for him to react. He did not react at all. I started feeling so stupid and went to change. Next day he told me I was sexy last night. I asked him, why he did not do anything, if he thought so. I was left without a satisfactory answer.
Your boyfriend is not into all this things, but it doesn't mean he doesn't love you.
He explained what type of guy he was by telling you he preferred you naked than in all the sexy stuff.
Accept it or leave him. There is no remedy. I was trying for years :)

Guys are weirdos lol I don't know very many guys that would not appreciate a bit of lingerie and your boyfriend should be happy that you are actually making an effort for him. If he quite often ignores you to watch sky sports when it is not the world cup final (well this is like the holy day to football fans) then it's time to think about ditching him and get yourself someone who appreciates you.

In all likelyhood you are dating a subspecies of man called the Neandertol.
He is driven by instinct and aggression, and likes no nonsense things. Essentially, he is a brute with no imagination. Don't worry if your sexy garb does not get him riled up. He's just boring. It's no reason to worry.
Now what you can do, is where the lingere as everyday wear when the two of you are alone at home, and do boring normal stuff like cook and clean. Wear it to bed, but don't sleep with him. hold out on sex until he is so horny that the sight of you in your lingere drives him wild!
Or something like that.

He was making excuses because he wasnt interested .. only in himself.
I could be all politically correct here but at the end of the day I will be honest and say that sexy lingerie is a definite winner in my book.
If you take something thats gorgeous in the first place and wrap it in something pretty .. how can you lose and of course there is the unwrapping ceremony as well :-D

Don't know about other men but mine loves the lingerie. Actually more than I do. I like comfy sleep attire, mostly cotton or sometimes silk night pants or PJ's. He actually looks through the Victorias Secret catalog and picks things out for me that he likes. I do have a lot of that stuff, but only wear them on special occasions. For me it is comfort, and child, if I am going to be nude, those lights better be out.

Guys really do like that sort of thing so it certainly is'nt you. Tell your b/f he needs to give the hash a miss for a while till he gets some life back into him, as all he'll want to do is get stoned then you canny be bothered doing anything. I've been there seen the problem and chucked the blow and went sex crazy.......

This is normal. A lot of guys do not like lingerie...you wanna turn him on...prance in front of him naked....that's the point of the lingerie anyways, to get naked.
