Why are you on R&S if all you believe in is evolution? Whats the point just to harrass people or what?

These folk think humans evolved from animals and that reptiles traded in their leather coats for feathers and became a chicken. Oh yeah, they belong here because it probably takes more faith than a Christian to swallow that line of thought. Ohhhh, now I get it, it's those DRINKS!!!! Hey you guys! I think you need to cool it on the sauce it's distortin' your whatchamacallits!

You're the second person to ask this question today and I think it's a short-sighted question no matter who asks it. This is an open forum, not a club. You don't have to belong to or believe in a specific religion in order to be admitted. This is a place for adults to come and discuss theories, debate beliefs and learn the answers to the questions that really matter to them.
If you believe that Atheists come here to harras people, do you also believe that Christians only try to convert people as a form of harrassment as well?

1) Atheists can be spiritual.
2) You do not need to be religious to have an opinion about religious issues, just like you don't need to be a conservative to have an opinion about conservatism.
3) This is a section ABOUT religion, not a section solely for the religious.
4) There are many misconceptions and untrue generalizations about atheists that many of us would like to clear up.
5) We're constantly asked questions here anyway.

We ask and answer questions here because we're interested in religion and/or spirituality. I imagine that's probably the reason you're here too, isn't it?

Why does this question come up every day.
We are here to talk about our beliefs in regard to religion and to expose people to our view point. If we can make people think for a minute on what we are saying and why we believe it then we have done something good because we have encouraged the mental process.

Evolution is not something a person 'believes in'. It is a scientific theory not a religion.
