A theory by definition is a thought or fancy as opposed to fact or practice.

A theory by definition is a hypothesis or conjecture. It can be defined as an educated guess.

A theory by definition is an idea, contemplation or opinion about something.

Most scientific theories regarding evolution cannot be accurately testable and therefore cannot be proven as absolute fact.

Have faith dear friend in God.

The Bible says : Hebrews 11:3 "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do not appear".

Colossians 1:16
"For by him(Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were made by him, and for him".

Have faith in God not scientific false opinions on life.

A scientific theory is not the same as a regular theory. This is a common mistake often used by religious people to denounce scientific advancements.

The Pythagorean Theorem, for example, is never once argued as being ridiculous. We've tested it and found enough evidence for it to prove it.

Most scientific theories take years to prove. Gravity, for example, wasn't really proven for a little while. Yet you probably don't doubt that it exists.

Evolution is no different. We have evidence of certain species of birds adapting beaks to gather food easier. We have evidence of 'dead-end' animals that went extinct because they evolved in such a way that hindered them. We have little details that agree with evolution, but until we can sit down and study a species for thousands upon thousands of years, we won't be able to solidly prove that it is absolutely right. Until then, we can say that it seems right. Would God truly create species that would die off immediately because of how they were made? Or create brand new creatures that only have slight variations every now and then?

I accepted evolution because, as a kid, I thought it made the most sense. It seemed logical to me that creatures would adapt and evolve (in an earlier stage, humans used to have an eye in the back of their head AND they used to have six fingers). When I heard about the creation theory, I actually laughed a little. Did people actually think that God made everything exactly how it is today? That nothing has the ability to adapt or evolve? That God made everything, killed off what didn't work, and made everything again? It would seem that, with this theory, God was more or less experimenting and had no idea what works and what doesn't work.

You accept that God created the world, and that Christianity is right. Without using the Bible, can you prove that all other religions are wrong? Without using the Bible, can you prove that God came first without something creating him?

You are confusing some terms here.

A hypothesis is a guess as to what causes something or why something happens the way it does. This is the first step towards trying to understand some phenomenon.

After testing, either the hypothesis is accurate or it is not. If it is not, then it is altered and more testing on the new hypothesis begins.

Once an acceptable hypothesis is found, other people have to independently verify the claims and results. Once this happens the hypothesis is promoted to a theory.

Technically, the "theory" of evolution should be called the Hypothesis of Evolution...but too many people would have problems pronouncing and spelling "hypothesis".

A theory is not an opinion....it has been verified as true by multiple people.

There is a point at which science nad religion coincide too. U can laugh at it. There is famous phrase" Yesterday science is todays magic or myth".

Concept in science when its in the right direction can reveal Gods hand in the world. Fact is scientist knows better than a religionist about the world.

Why is that? Religionist are merely preachers. They are not practical nor they live a life in the high principles of religion. They simply fight for the survival of it.But a scientist is practical ready to improve from failures and find the things beyond the things.

If a religionist experiences God then he is indeed the greatest scientist who is most gentle and graceful. Such people dont live like those other shallow thinkers. They make world as target not religion. They make love of God as target not convertion.

"A theory by definition is a hypothesis or conjecture. It can be defined as an educated guess."

Only in common speech. In scientific terms, theory and hypothesis are two very different things.

In The Book of Jeff 7:1 it says "Evolution is fact, m'kay". Believe the True word of Jeff, not some false book such as the bible.

A scientific theory is a model of the universe, or an aspect of it, which is consistent with all available data and can be used to make accurate predictions. It is, by definition, the most trustworthy idea that exists on a specific topic, since if it weren't then it wouldn't be a valid theory.

Incorrect.Look up the scientific definition of the word "theory"

And by the way, there is nothing about god or faith that can be accurately testable therefore that cannot be proven as fact

Gilbert asks, quote, "Atheists: Why do you put so much faith in Scientific theories that are opinions that can't be trusted at all?"

Now, Gilbert, sir, let's get this straight. Why trust scientists to the 21st century who are part of the scientific world that sent us to the moon, invented a a way to see galaxies beyond our own, created open-heart surgery and heart transplants, invented computers and the Internet, etc., etc.? Instead, trust a tribe of Bronze Age desert nomads who lived in tents and tended sheep and goats, who thought Earth was flat and that an invisible god lived in the clouds and threw down lightening bolts upon the wicked, etc., etc.? Gilbert, may I respectfully suggest that, to even a mildly intelligent person, you certainly are asking a lot?

Scientific theory is TESTABLE.

Evolution has been tested in tens of thousands of ways. Thousands of predictions made by it have proven accurate. And scientists (in spite of your conjecture) overwhelmingly accept it. It is very nearly 100% in the Biological Sciences.

So you just keep telling yourself that garbage since you need it to help you sleep at night.
