Before you get back with anyone, you need to ask yourself why you broke up in the first place. Then remember all the bad stuff or the stuff that made you unhappy when you were together, if you honestly feel that you should be together after considering all the above then you should get back together. If you have any doubts, then you need to move on. You are 17 and have your whole life ahead of you, don't be in a rush to grow up and get stuck with one guy. You also need to sort out the hard headed bit, that could come back to bite you in the butt later. I was like you at 17 and have now been divorced 10 years and have two kids, 12 and 10 years, think carefully before you rush in to anything! Good luck and be honest with yourself first or else you are ripping yourself off.

Because we're grieving, not only for the relationship that just ended, but for the long term relationship we were hoping for, which we now know isn't going to be. But guess what, the guys are grieving too, for the same reason. Give yourself a short time to grieve (might be a day, might be a month...depends on your needs) and then try again. But always know that there is a chance it will end the same way, so don't rush in too serious, too fast.

As far as trying again with the same guy goes, if he's not interested right now, let him go. There will be someone else for you.

I have this same thing, I was dating a 21 year old, and I am 17, but I had to go to college, because I got accepted early, so I had to move about 300 miles away, and I have been so busy I have not been able to talk with her. But when I do, all she does is ***** on why I havent called her so what I did was go out and looked for another girl, but did nothing with them, I even told them my situation, and so we were just friends until my girlfriend finnaly called me and said " I dont think this is working." So I hooked up with the other girl.

Hoped this helped

This might sound rough or even mean but, everything comes to an end. If you have been honest with him and told him your feelings then there is nothing else you can do. Just know that many have been through this and that you will find something better.

the truth is you are still young. i know it can be hard but remeber there are plenty of good guys out there. dont just set on this one this early in the game. if he does not think about the things he does and just does then he is not the one for you. you will find mister right one day
