Going on a blind date is always a good thing unless you don't come out of it alive.
Think of it this way...4 things could happen
1. you may meet your potential mate
2. you may meet a very good life long friend
3. date goes horribly wrong, but funny
4. your date is a serial killer and kills you
So your chances are good, 3 out of 4 isn't bad. So unless your unfortunate enough to get #4, you'll have a story to tell later on, because believe me years down the road it'll be good conversation while sitting around with friends.

I have, it was an internet date, a few years back when pictures weren't as easy to get online. So this guy and I spent a ton of time talking, getting to know each other. Finally decided to meet for lunch... He knew what I looked like, I had an idea of what he looked like...(which was wrong) We met, I quickly ate my lunch and got out of there as fast as I could! Vowed to require photos... MORE than 1... My lesson was learned fast.

I noticed her parents in the garage so i wanted to say hello before we headed off on our date,.....there was an awkward silence for about 20sec....then we left. conversation was pretty good and we went to see pirates of the caribean 3 which was awesome cause i didnt have to hear her talk for 3 hours and she fell asleep anyway so i could grab a yittie or 2....then it was silence on the ride home and dropped her off....havent spoke to her since :)

I went through it twice and never again.
Id rather die a thousand deaths.
The first guy they said he was tall, he ended up being up to my breast.........like OMG
The second guy sounded like a girl when he spoke, he was like 27, but was like a big baby.
Family set me up both times.
They all want to rush me to meet someone and get married!
To me its not the way to meet the love of your life.
Not many people know what you are after!

went through with it, but it was set up by my sister who coaxed me into it. I learnt pretty quickly that when some one is described as having a good personality it generally mean they don't order a salad often.

I went through it a couple of times and both didn't work out.
The first one didn't treat me with respect, so that's a big NO.
The other one, there wasn't any chemistry between us, but we stay friends.
