Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians.
Witnesses are relatively unique among self-described Christians in that they understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom by Christ Jesus is a real government which will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

Jehovah's Witnesses have confidence each thing the BIBLE says approximately Jesus. That Jesus is the Son of God. The Savior. The King of God's Kingdom. the way the certainty and the existence. Our form to stick to his steps heavily. we don't think something taken from exterior the Bible like the pagan trinity doctrine. This grow to be formed for political motives by utilizing apostate 'Christianity' extra beneficial than 4 hundred years after the time of Christ.

We believe just what Jesus Christ believed. Jehovah is the personal name of the Creator of all things and author of the Bible. Jesus is proudly His Son. Jesus is the only creature personally created by Jehovah. Afterwards Jesus was used to create everything else. They are the "us" in "let us make man in our image." in Genesis.
Jesus plainly says in John 14:28, "My Father is greater than I." We listen and obey. We do not disregard this just because there is a trinity belief that is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. So Christians do NOT believe Jesus is God Almighty as Jehovah is. But he is now the second most powerful creature in the universe, which ain't half bad!
We understand we must do something other than just have faith. Religions that want to sit on their rears and do nothing say only faith is needed. Romans 10:10-15 says 'with the heat we exercise faith, but with the mouth we make PUBLIC DECLARATION. Everyone calling to me, "Lord! Lord! will be saved." BUT HOW will they call if they have not heard? How will they hear without someone to preach? Doing the preaching and teaching work is what is important for true Christians to do. Jesus ordered his people to do this. (Matt. 24:14; 28:19-20)
We strive for accurate knowledge of the Bible with full discernment. (Philip. 1:9) We do all speak in agreement on spiritual things. You can go to a Kingdom Hall anywhere in the world and find the teachings the same. (1Cor. 1:10)
As regards any belief, we "test the inspired expressions to see if they originate with God." (1John 4:1) If they do not pass the Bible's test, we will not believe in it.
WE don't believe in a fiery burning hell for torturing the dead. One reason is Eccles. 9:5,10 which gives the deads conditionas unable to feel or think anything or effect the living. So how could they know pain. Second, Jehovah never had thought of such a thing. Jeremiah 7:31 has people sacrificing babies to an idol by tossing them into a fire. This was something detestable to Jehovah. He had never even thought of such a thing. Hell is only the grave, nothing more. Torture like that is a pagan belief, having nothing to do with the Bible.
That is what we mean by examining the Bible for our beliefs. We do not lean on our own imaginations.

JWs believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus though is different from the Almighty God, who is his Father. See John 17:3 where Jesus called his Father, the ONLY true God. If there are three persons in one God, then Only is not the right term.
Notice, that the Bible never used these terminologies “God the Son, God-man, Trinity, etc” to describe God and Jesus. Jesus always say that he has a God, whom he calls “MY God”. Jehovah is the Most High, and Jesus is the Son of the Most High (Psalms 83:18, Mark 5:7) . Jesus was GIVEN Life by His Father (John 5:26) and Jesus is the firstborn and beginning of all creation. Jesus was begotten/made by the Father (Acts 13:33- begotten/MADE (Greek gennao), See Strong’s Greek dictionary). Jesus became Mighty God (Isa 9:6), if you notice it uses FUTURE tense WILL/SHALL, so since it is a prophecy, those titles are not yet given to Jesus at that time.
For Trinitarians, the Father is Jehovah, the Son is Jehovah, the holy Spirit is Jehovah. Since these three persons are unique and different, then they are THREE Jehovah.
The Bible disagrees with the teaching of the Trinity.
Deut 6:4 says there is ONE JEHOVAH. (Jehovah our God is one Jehovah) Not Three.
Deut 6:6 uses the word “I”. The Bible use the terms “I”, “I am” “I only”, to describe God. Those terms are only used for ONE PERSON, and NOT THREE persons and NOT for collective nouns. The word “God” is also NOT a collective noun like “team”.
Jehovah is one person, not three. Trinitarians have to prove that the words “I” “I am” “I only” is used for THREE persons but reasonable persons know that those words are only for ONE person.
JWs believe that God is only ONE person, (Gen 17:1) who has an only begotten Son, Jesus whom he sent (John 3:16)

Christians believe Jesus is GOD?
Funny that's not a scriptural teaching that I can see
John 14:28, " YOU heard that I said to YOU, I am going away and I am coming [back] to YOU. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. "
1st Corinthians 11:3 "But I want YOU to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn the head of a woman is the man; in turn the head of the Christ is God. "
If the Father is greater than Jesus and if God is the head of Christ doesn't that make it difficult for Jesus to BE God?

I'll tell you what they believe.
They believe exactly what the bible says, every word of it. They try not to interpret stuff like catholics and do not end up with a litle god like the pope and first comunion and all those rituals.
What if they bible has been wrongly mistranslated?
Well if theres a god, he wouldnt let the only tool he left for mankind to be mistranslated.
They believe jesus is the son of God, b/c it says so on any bible, literally. Unlike catholics "interpret" as jesus being god in human form. Its so obvious jesus was saying "Forgive them father, they dont know what theyre doing", but still most religions classify jesus as god in human form.
Personally, i think if there is a correct religion, this is it.
I also read somewhere in the bible jesus said something like "You are my witnesses, go out there and spread the world about God's plan and the new kingdom", i guess thats what they got their name from.
Everything they believe comes from words easily understood in the bible either from jesus or God. Like death for example, remember when Jesus rezzed Lazaro?
People: Lazaro has died, oh god, crying...
Jesus: Hes sleeping, hes not dead. Wake up, lazaro.
So that clearly suggests there is not such thing as heaven for us, we are just sleeping when we die. Its like when you unplug your TV.
No they do not believe blood transfusion is sinful, they believe you should try another treatments besides blood transfusion. Because there is a cite in the bible saying that "Blood is life, eating blood is wrong" or soemthing like it.
But if you dont have a choice, they will let you do it. Then again see the way they interpret? They dont interpret, they take the word almost literally. And that's cool. You think god is going to give us a confusing tool to interpret? And those who are smart enough to crack down the super code of the bible will get eternal life? Well ....idk. Maybe.
Lmao, I havent noticed but I know a lot of stuff bout em. i just read the post below me saying "only one body will be saved". I think theres a cite saying in the bible that people from other beliefs will be given a second chance to accept the doctrine in God's new world.
Theyre not as extremist as these people describe it.

Christians do not believe that Jesus is God.
Why is it that the most recognized scripture, seen even at football games, John 3:16 is ignored.
God gave his SON. God did not give himself.
Christians believe Jesus. He said that.
Thus is you want the main beliefs of JWs, listen to Jesus.
God gave his son, thus we do not believe that Jesus is God.

No, we don't believe that Jesus is God. Jesus is Jehovah's son, and he was created first than the other angels.
