1 cup of milk, 1/3 cup of oatmeal, 1 tblspn flaxseeds, banana, blueberries blended together into a shake - cereal in a blender!

Yum.

I m looking forward to an egg white omelet 4 lunch -- or, maybe some sashimi! Yeah! Yum! Which do you think I should have!

And for dinner -- I have leftover salmon filet and nice salad with several kinds of peppers, cukes, tomatoes, and a few fresh mozzarella cheese balls! Whaddya think?

lauren - minging? You mean like "small" or "minced"? It's actually a lot of food -- It's about a 400 calorie breakfast -- lunch around 500 calories - snacks in between like an apple and veggies (about 300 more calories) - and dinner about 400 to 500 calories to land around 1600 or 1700 a day. I only need just under 2000 to break even.

Julia S - snacks? Sure, I allow snacks, but they are fruits and veggies. In the afternoon I usually sip on a veggie shake with tomatoes, celery, cukes, green peppers, onion, garlic, yellow peppers, carrots with worcesteshire, a veggie bullion cube, and hot sauces -- make it in my Vita-Mix processor.

I try not to snack too much, because I am limiting calories. One piece of fruit can have between 70 and 120 calories, so you have to be careful.

Oh, and the oatmeal is steel cut right now. I buy all kinds. Sometimes I get like a 7 grain mix. I always use whole flaxseeds. You can buy them in bulk for like $1.50 a pound, and they last forever. Buying them at Whole Foods and stuff and you play like $20 for the ground flaxseed. Not necessary.

Thats an EXCELLENT choice of foods for today.

Hints - try to switch to steel cut oats in the morning, they are better than regular oats... the flax seeds are awesome, if you run out of that, flax seed oil works as well.. try adding more berries, too... you can never have enough berries.

I vote for the egg white omelet since you can add veggies to that mix... and even hot sauce since you seem to be on a metabolism kick. Sashimi is good too, but more fiber options with the omelet would be great.

the dinner is making me drool. omegas galore.

two thumbs up for you. ;)

Good for you.

no snacks??
