If you stay out of the custody of police you dont have to worry about such things, and if you co-operate instead of resisting your chances are also about zero. But if you insist on turning it into a physical altercation the chance is always there that you may be injured or killed. You can say the same thing about any bar fight. Sometimes people die.

Why do some people who ask questions here think that we can read their minds and know exactly what they are talking about? There are people in this forum from Canada, U.S.A, India, Australia and maybe others.
I've arrested hundreds of people over the years and not one of them has died while in my custody....great I think I just jinxed myself.....oh well......!!
There will always be cases where people have died from excited delirium (drug induced usually). Studies have shown that these people would probably have died anyway even if police officers hadn't been there. There will always be suicides in custody as well. Precautions are taken but sometimes you just don't know that someone is suicidal when they go into lock-up.
There will continue to be deaths in custody, this is unavoidable. Here in Canada there is an automatic coroner's inquest when there is an in custody death (police or jail) even if it is a suicide. It is taken very seriously, and recommendations are made to make the system better.

In custody death? I've arrested lots of people, and I've never had anyone die in my custody.
This is a question from the same type of person that screams "the officers killed him with the Taser." When in reality you have no idea how a taser operates, nor how it affects the human body.
Yes, people die in custody, it's unfortunate. Sometimes, it's natural causes, law enforcement officers have nothing to do with that. Sometimes, they fight.
True_blue and Scott pretty much nailed it, if you don't go to jail, your chances of being an in-custody death statistic are zero.

This question is flawed. It does not even make sense. I am assuming the author is trying to imply that there is some sort of horrible trend of prisoner death due to abuse or neglect at the hands of the police they are arrested by. However, there is no supporting argument or source reference. Not to mention a coherent sentence.
My wife is an English teacher maybe you can sign up for one of her on line classes. Maybe then you would have a better grasp of the English language and would be able to articulate whatever it is you are trying to "ask".
Until then I'm not even going to try to guess what you're talking about.
