There is no "best place" to buy Life Insurance. Make sure that whoever you deal with;

A. Is licensed to sell in New York State. NYS has the best consumer protection laws regarding life insurance.

B. Is high rated by Moody's (check the rating chart, "A" is not highly rated).

C. If they "push" variable annuities.... run as far away from them as possible.

D. I believe that "Whole Life" policies are a poor choice for most people. Look at 20 - 30 year fixed term instead.

E. Speak to at least 3 companies.

F. Anyone that responds to your question by directing you to themselves.... should be avoided.
