Water is fine, but sports drinks such as Gatorade are actually absorbed faster.

Yes and No. First of all, you should drink before, sip during, and drink (not guzzle) after. If it is just a "regular" work-out, then water is the best. If it is an incredibly intense work out and you are sweating a lot and dry mouth, then you would be better off with a rehydrating drink like Gatorade which has the electrolytes and salts that you need to help you absorb the water and rehydrate.

yes.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

Yes, water is the best replacement when it's mixed with mineral water to replace the minerals you lose during sports. I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously.

I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day. Realize that exercise, ambient temperature, and state of health affect the water needs of your body. One tip for athletes: it is healthier to drink a sports drink or water than fruit juice, soda, coffee, or milk during competition or active training periods.
