Did God sin by planting his seed in Mary before a big wedding ceremony?

Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, not Joseph.

Yes. It is lucky that Mary was not stoned to death for conceiving out of wedlock.

The irony is that Christianity forgets so easily how Jesus was conceived, yet condemns those who conceive outside of marriage.

But the point of Jesus being conceived this way was to show that God wanted His Son to be born as the lowest possible in society, so that there would be no-one beyond the mercy and love of God. At least that is the Theology.

Maybe if you'd take some real quality time studying the bible you would find the 'truth' you obviously need so very much.

The fact is, 'Jesus' conception wasn't ironic and there was nothing 'off color' about it at all'. - The 'truth' is is that it was a loving and caring miracle performed by God, our Father, to bring forth, to us all, the most wonderful gift ever given to mankind in the history of the world; (our Savior, Jesus the Christ!).

GOD DIDN'T 'GET A GIRL PREGNANT'...HE BLESSED HER, ABOVE ALL WOMEN, (including you), SO THAT EVERYONE OF US MAY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE SAVED AND SOMEDAY JOIN THE 'FAMILY OF GOD'; (including you).

May God bless you, very much.

I'm no Christian - but believe that Jesus did exist as an important historical figure.

There is no evidence to suggest that Mary wasn't married to Joseph at the time of conception. Also, the term 'Virgin' attached to Mary is now widely acknowledged to be a mistranslation from the ancient Greek for 'young woman'.
Also, this bit of text from a bible studies website is quite interesting:

"These verses show that Joseph did indeed take Mary to be his wife (married her) before Jesus was born, according to what the angel told him to do. All of this was according to God’s great plan and in no way did it reflect any wrong doing in their relationship. "

It is a sin but Jesus wasn't conceived through Sex but through the Holy Spirit, Mary was still a virgin when he was born.

whats Ironic is atheists always asking questions and wanting to know more about someone they dont even believe in in the first place..the Bible is powerful and true..and Jesus is real..you will NEVER be able to deny that..

Ironic? Hardly. It's the perfect will of God. And in your desire to find fault with the bible, you missed the miracle!

That was written on the bible and that is the consent of God. You are still young to understand your own question.

And so, you got pregnant 'out of wedlock' and you want to justify that? OK.

That is indeed the definition of a bastard. However he was conceived. And of course virgin birth is impossible.
