Life or death?

whats the answer are we happy dead or alive!

normally we are happy alive but as death is the last stage of life and rebirth is possible only after death, its a cycle so we should be happy in both the situations alive as well as dead.

The dead know nothing, so my guess is that to be alive is the answer. My problem, though, is that I have this small slice of nihilism in my mind, and sometimes I get very dark-mooded because of it. It's when the thoughts come into me is when all regard for life goes out the window. That's when I take really long walks where no other people are and work it out.

well since I'm not dead yet i can only say I'm happy to be alive even with all the s**t going on in my life at the moment

I am happy to be alive. When I die, I will be my spiritual self which I believe, I will also be happy with. But not everyone is happy when they're alive so it differs with each person.
