A cats pregnancy is 43 days. A dogs is 63 days. She will start looking for somewhere secure to hide, like a closet , under the bed or a box away from people and other animals, usually a week before she will have her kittens. This is called nesting.A box with some newspaper at the bottom and a soft blanket is good for her and do not freak out if she shreds the newspaper. It is normal as she is making her and her babies homes that they will be in for 4-6 weeks. Also the day before she has her kittens, she will be more picky about what she eats and will eat very little food. Make sure, only if she is a calm cat, to offer her food and water while she is having her kittens. She might eat or drink but don't worry if she doesn't.

Ok the guy who said cats are pregnant for 43 days was WRONG!!!!!!!!! Cats are usually pregnant for 63 to 64 days but go as short as 58 to as long as 70. Anything over 70 days you need to see the vet ASAP! Most of the time you wont be able to tell when she was mated and then you go by the time her nipples pink up and then it would be 5 more weeks after that.
