My gf & I plan to get married next year. But we come from different churches, she is a cath while I'm SBC. We want to go on our own beliefs without interfere each other.

In which church do you suggest for couple like us to perform the wedding ritual? Neither SBC & Roman Catholic Church supports that kind of marriage.

*Is Catholic*

The Catholic Church will allow a SBC wedding SO LONG as you get a dispensation. Talk to her priest. You will need to promise to raise your children Catholic, and only Catholic, and will have to promise that you will not try to take her away from the Faith and Christ's Church.

I would rather see you get married in the Catholic Church with a proper Catholic Mass as it will help in the future.

A word for the wise, religious differences become more pronounced with time, especially when you have kids. Most SBCs that I have met are hostile to the Catholic Faith which means that you could endup becoming hostile to your wife in the future even if you are not hostile now and think it is no big deal.

I would be spending some time learning about the Catholic Faith so you can be supportive of the raising of your children Catholic.

Start with the
Catechism
anybook by Ratzinger
Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma by Ott

more resources if needed.

You must not have paying attention in religion class. Catholic and nonCatholics get married ALL THE TIME>

All you need to do is go to Catholic marriage prep....you sign a statement promising to raise the children as Catholics ( the nonCatholic only acknowledges your promise)....you can actually be married in a nonCatholic church and have it "count" in the Catholic Church---as long as you go by the rules....concult your priest.
