My hair is naturally light brown. I live in Florida and spend lots of time at the beach, which has lightened it to a brassy light auburn. I used to try to dye it brown with temporary hair dyes, but after a few trips to beach, it's back to light auburn. I don't know what to do because I'm not crazy about this color. Should I go the opposite direction and dye my hair a strawberry blonde? I'm so confused! It gets lightened by the sun very easily and no I don't always want to wear a hat. I like the sun and getting in the ocean.

Go to a strawberry blond. L'Oreal Preference 9GR.
It looks bright when first done but softens to a nice strawberry color and lightens well.
