The invitation which is basically meant to herald the occasion gmust be in keeping with the proposed event. Printing ink would be too tame. Try to take the cue from one answerer and see if you can procure some blood,may be blood ofe animals massacred mercilessly(as the Muslims do,slowly cutting the neck of the victim or the Hindu one of killing the sacrificially animal by pounding it with punches.That would lend the event adequate gruesomeness.The chief guest would caress you with his forked tail.

Actually, I believe to correct method of notification would be delivery by demons....I think UPS (underworld paranormal services) provides such a service at a nominal cost. Most party planners merely provide their soulsecurity number and all the details for the gala are handled.
