I assume you think all people in debt are there because they buy JUNK ! Have some thought some are in debt because they have worked all their lives and have become ill or are made redundant. Maybe you should do it and then you would feel the same and know what its like, its not nice. I hope you are never moaning and miserable in debt remember 'there but for the grace of god '

No, live within your means, spend your credit wisely at a rate you can afford to pay back. I wouldn't wish debt consolidation on anyone after seeing my sister get crippled by it. Well, not literally..

yes. Then 'give' it all away or hide it somewhere, declare yourself bankrupt and enjoy your free stuff!
Sure you wont be able to get anything for about 10 years (mortgage, credit/debit cards etc), but if you buy enough crap you wont need to!!!
