About two days ago i started getting a really sharp pain around my bladder area. I was thinking it was a water infection and i herd that cranberry juice helps get rid of it. So yesterday i started drinking some and the pain has rapedly decresed. I was wondering can a water infection go away on there own or will i need to get some pills from my doctor????

It has been my experiance that if I am in the early stages, then if I drink Cranberry Juice and nothing else except for water for a couple of days, it takes care of it all on its own.
If after a couple of days you are still experiencing any type of pain related to that, then you should see a doctor.
So, I guess my answer is yes it can go away with out medication.

P.S. I just drank regular old cranberry juice/unsweetened from the grocery.

You should be able to improve it seriously on your own.

The cranberry juice you need is UNSWEETENED CONCENTRATE FROM THE HEALTH FOOD STORE.

Mix 8 ounces with a gallon of water. Drink 8 ounces before every meal. The sugar in the juice feeds the infection. Do this for several days, it helps you lose weight also.

This came from my Dads Kidney specialist.
