I gotta admit, 13. Bad decision. (I was almost 14, makes me feel a little better.) Yes, I now see that I should've waited. I was in a serious rebellion stage against my parents and wanted to do things my way. I didn't even let my emotions get involved with the guy. We weren't together at all. It was pretty casual. I'm rather ashamed of that fact.
I think the appropriate age is when you are married. I finally figured out the reason you're supposed to wait until marriage. Sex is a connection not only in body but with emotions. It's not about having fun and feeling good, it's about showing your spouse how you feel about them and that you don't want the connection to be just friendly. You want it to be you and them completely mind, body, and soul. I've grown up a lot since and realized I should've respected myself much more than I did. I'm 17 now and much more mature.

i was 14 and i regret it but im not ashamed cos i cant do anything about it not, im almost 23. i had no understanding of what i was doing, i was way too young and the guy it was with was a loser. everyone told me he was but i was 14 and i knew best - as all teenagers do, afterwards he didnt want to know and i felt terrible about myself. i was 16 before i done it again and it was with a guy id been with over a year but even at 16 i dont think i was fully aware of my actions. i dont think it matters what the legal age is because if teenagers want to do it they will. i think the best thing is to tell our kids at a young age about the cosequences. im 34 weeks pregnant and all i can hope for my child is to educate them to not make the same choices that i made

I was 14 but I think that 16 is an appropiate age for this generation although I know 10yr olds who have lose their virginity already.

I was 15, and wished it wasn't with the guy i gave it to. I don't think there is a right age to lose our virginity. But you need to respect yourself, and not give it away to the first guy who wants it or begs for it. I would say wait until marriage, but the possibility of that happening is next to slime in today's society.

i was 15 and had no concept of what i was doing and how it would effect me latter in life. o yes i was one of those stupid teenagers who didn't use protection thank goodness my mother found out about it and put me on birth control or i would have been a teen mom I'm sure although my then boyfriend and i planned on telling our parents the weekend after they found out. we thought we were so mature we were going ot have them all get together and tell them we were having sex we figured that if we did it that way they would think i was pregnant and be relieved when the found out we just wanted protection. lol without telling my whole life story lol i think ppl should wait until 18 but i know it isn't going to happen but the soonest i can say that i think it is ok would be 17 16 at youngest. i know if i have any daughters the y will be put on birth control at age 15 i know it seems extreme but it is for the best.

I was16. These days~~ that's old. *sigh* Being the mother of 3, I've given this a lot of thought. My daughters 16 and 10 have told me that because of what they know I have gone through, teen pregnancy, and my honesty about issues, that neither of them wants to rush into anything. Therefor, I don't think there is ever an appropriate age, necessarily. It depends on the maturity of the child. Well, that and I boldly asked my oldest daughters boyfriend if he needed me to take both of them to Planned Parenthood for birth control. The embarrassment itself did the trick, for now. LOL! =)

I'm 18 and lost my virginity 5 months ago, and?? so what??
whoever calls me a 'friggit', its way better than to be called a slag :)
I'd rather wait for the right guy (who has been with me for 2 yrs) than going with anyone that comes along.
I think 16 is a good age for law in the uk, i don't know what it is in usa but at 16 if that person is responsible enough to have sex then they should be responsible enough to face the consequences if anything happens.

way to young I don't think any age is appropriate for what lays ahead most girls do it for love......a woman will have sex for love a man will love for sex. In the end the female is always hurt, that she had giving herself to a man not knowing her feelings nor his

17 years and 6 month.
Every woman is different. And the situation is different. But I think the minimum age should be at least 16.
