I have a problem. shes completely perfect, but shes like an inch taller than me lol. i wont break with her cause of that, thats just cold, but i dont want to like stand next to her and things like that for people to tell her "isnt he too short for u" or things like that. I also dont want to stand next to her cause she might be like "wow hes shorter than me" and might just break wit me. (its happened before) and it just feels weird too with her bein an inch taller. it will be worse if we go to a dance and shes wearing heels. very very worse. i might be like looking up to her while we are dancing and u know how brutal highschool kids can be. any suggestions how i solve this problem? serious answers please

Tom Cruise is so proud of his beautiful taller than himself wife. She is always in heels and he has to look up to her. If you really like her and she likes you then who cares what other people think. I know high school can be cruel. Can't you try to make light of the jokes if they come up. Say something like "ya she is so hot and she chose me. Kind of makes you wonder what I have that you don't". You're young and can think of much funnier things to say I'm sure. Everyone in High School think they have something wrong with the way they look so you are not alone. There was a boy in my town who is probably 5'4 and a great basketball player and ALL the girls loved him and most had to look down at him. This girl really likes you for you and that's a big compliment. You must be really hot or something. And one inch is not that much. It could be a lot worse!

Aw dont feel bad Me and my Man is the same height too i do get that urge to wanna wear heels when we go out but i dont wanna look taller than him im only 5'8 and he's supose to be 6'0 which i know for a fact he's lying cause ive been 5'8 for yrs and my guy friend is 6'0 and he's COMPLETELY taller than me but me and my man have history so i dont let it faze me my last 2 ex's was an inch shorter than me and it did bother me but hey if thats who you love than forget what the world thinks let people know "Yea im shorter than her and what?" Be proud you with her not embarrassed if so than find another girl and make sure your taller than her

There are lifts that you can put into your shoes, or you can wear shoes with higher heels. Ask her not to get heels that are too high, if you go to a dance.
Personally, I think that you are worried for nothing. What do you care if those idiots say things like that. They are just jealous that you have someone!!

I'm 14 and also short. my past girlfriend(who like you, was perfect and idk why things had to end) was about the same size as me. she would randomly claim she was taller than me but i would always be a tad taller(i thought this was cute because she would be like"aaah man")but this year at the valentine's day dance, she wore heals and was taller than me. FORGET ABOUT THE OTHER HIGH SCHOOLERS!!!!!! hang out with friends at school!!! at the dance, all the other students will be occupied with themselves, the music, girls, and friends, that they wont be making fun of you

That isn't all that matters, what matters are the feelings you have for eachother. Height has nothing to do with a relationship, don't worry about that. Ahhha a high school relationship, if she's going to break up for that, then she isn't worth it in the first place. Best to ask her and be honest, but common sence would tell me, if she was worried about your height, she wouldn't be with you in the first place, FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

Buy thick sole/heel shoes. Buy the little gel inserts that go in shoes. Ask her not to wear heels. U could also just tell her what ur feeling and see what she says or if she even cares.

To me this is a very stupid question. Who cares how tall she is compared to u. As long as u love each other it really doesn't matter. I dont know where this came about that the guy has to be taller then the girl but its very stupid

Wear at least 5 pairs of socks to give you layers and a little extra height without being to obvious. But most of all you need to get over it because if you don't care no one else will. ps buy her a nice pair of flat shoes. and ask her to wear them when she is with you. have a nice day

This is your girlfriend - someone you trust and care about, and someone who trusts and cares about you. Why don't you just tell her that you feel self-conscious about your height difference. She's likely to breathe a sigh of relief and say "me too!" Then you can laugh about it and you'll have moved your relationship forward by being honest. Talk to her about it: it's the adult thing to do.

Do not bother about what others comment on your height. If you are feeling uncomfortable about it, talk to your gf about it and ask her if she minds you being an inch shorter, if she doesnt, you have nothing to be upset about it. Kids are kids, they do not know what they are saying. =)
