Simply place several slices of bread ( two days old is fine) in to a oven proof dish.
Spread with apricot jam.
Add a little water and sprinkle with self raising flour.
Add one egg.
Mush the whole lot up with your clean hands.
Bake until bread is no longer mushy.

I love making Jelly trifle.

1. Get some Canned fruit. Any will do but I use canned peaches. Drain and put them in a deep dish. Add some more fruit is you like so you have a nice thick layer
2. Now make your jelly. The instructions are on the packet. Pour the Jelly mixture over the fruit.
3. Sprinkle with Sugar
4. Buy a tin of ready made Custard and pour this gently over the Jelly.
5. Now pour whipped cream (or from the spray can if you like) over the Custard. Make sure it spread out evenly.

Refrigerate for 2 hrs and serve as is. Dig in!

Pair up some fruit and cheese:
Pears and Stilton
Apples and Cheddar
Grapes and Brie
Even easier, try vanilla ice cream layered with fresh berries like strawberries and blueberries, or raspberries mixed with a dash of balsamic vinegar.

Easy Chocolate pie
Mix one large package of chocolate pudding as directed on the box.
Pour pudding into already made graham cracker crust
Serve and enjoy!
Can't get any easier than that.
If you want to make individual pies just buy the little ones in the same section as the graham cracker crust. Also, you could add cool whip to on top...whatever you want!
This one is my brother's favorite! Have fun!

Fruit Kabobs. On the stick place strawberries, pineapple chunks, marshmallows, pawpaw ... really any fruit that doesn't fall to pieces .. but don't forget the marshmallows.

Serve with a scoop of Vanilla Icecream - or what flavour you like.

If you need something fast, you can slice up a store bought pound cake and top it with fresh berries and caramel syrup (it's with the ice cream toppings). You can even put whipped cream on top or sprinkle some powdered sugar for a fancy look or put a scoop of ice cream on the side. Its simple, fast, easy, fairly inexpensive, and quite tasty.

Very, very simple desserts:

It's BBQ season, so poke a marshmallow on a stick, and toast it over the barbecue after dinner. Yum! If you want to get fancy, put it on a cookie or a graham cracker with a piece of chocolate, and make it a sandwich with another cookie/graham cracker.

Truffles -- chop up a chocolate bar, and put it in a bowl with a 1/2 tsp. of butter and 2 tsp. of milk. Nuke it in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir, nuke for 30 seconds more, stir again, continue until the chocolate is smooth, melted and all mixed in. Then, let it cool for 30 minutes, and dig out the chocolate with a spoon. Roll it in a ball, then roll it in some chopped nuts OR crushed cornflakes OR coconut flakes OR candy sprinkles OR use your imagination. This is super-easy but it looks like you spent hours doing it! Very impressive. Serve with vanilla ice cream if you want it to look like a real dessert.
