She was bleeding in the morning, i was away for about 2-3 hours when i came back and saw my other dog having sex with her. That was earlier today and now she is not herself, she seems very ill, can hardly walk or eat. I was told my a friend that this is normal for a dog in heat, but she just isnt herself and is weak.

no, she should not feel ill. take her to the vet and while you're there discuss having her spayed. there are too many dogs and not enough homes for them so millions die in shelters every year. be a part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

that's not normal my dog has been studded out twice and the bitches stayed for a while after, and were fine you know like humans that have mated (so to speak )a little tired and quiet but not ill.get her checked out in case the male injured her in any way and make sure she has plenty to drink.

I've had two dogs that've had puppies and only one seemed to throw up once in awhile. I would take her to the vet, or at least call your vet and tell him her symptoms if you're really concerned.

Dogs can get STDs you know...I'd get her checked out. And before you breed your dogs, educate yourself a little more. Good luck! :)
