recently I formated my notebook (laptop) and I lost a driver for vga, audio, network , modem.......and I downlod those drivers from dell website. so when i try to install the driver it appear one massage "This self-extracting zip file is part of a multidisk zip file. please insert the last disk of the set. " so please any one to konw how to install the drivers please let me know

You have to go to the website of the manufacturer of the specific device. They usually provide the drivers available for download right on the website.

You used a store bought XP CD, didn't you.

You must use your Dell Recovery disks, if included with your PC, not a store-bought XP, to avoid driver problems. The Recovery disks may be ON the hard drive, so Read The Friendly Manual.

Odds are you lost them, call Dell tech support.

You might benifit from the copy of XP that dell installed. You can access this by holding ctrl key and f11 as soon as you start to boot up. It will take you through a menu that will allow you to start from factory settings, which will include your drivers, from there you can update them and XP also via your internet connection. That is the easiest way to try to do what you are doing.

Unzip the file, and install the drivers one at a time.

please try again down loading the suitable version of softwares and which appropriatedv with the driver or send it to the centre of computer
