I'm redueing my resume because I haven't had much luck on finding a job and I think it's because the only education I have is HS. Would it be wrong to say I'm working my my associates in some type of degree just to boost my resume a little. I will be working on my associates degree soon, but haven't started on it just yet.

The problem with that is, what if they question you about it? Or, what if they think you know things you don't know? You may get caught in your lie and then think of how embarrassed you would be. I would rather not get the job than to get it and then get fired. Maybe you should hold out until you actually are going for the degree. That way nothing can come back to bite you in the butt. Good luck!

No, that's by no potential ok. think of roughly it - why did you lie? because of fact some thing wasn't good adequate? if it is the case, do it greater helpful. because you have not have been given adequate preparation? Get greater. in spite of the reason. placed it stunning, do not lie approximately it. Lies have a foul tendency to get found out - and picture how embarrassing that would desire to be! a huge lie would desire to wreck your occupation till now it even starts, or perhaps a small lie would desire to surely lose you all credibility. tell the fact. you already comprehend i'm stunning.

if you are really going to do it some time it will be ok but if you say something like i graduated from yale and you haven't even started a commuinty college that won't be a good idea. You can lie on small time jobs too b/c most of the time they won;t check. when you do get ur degree you don't have to put your gpa on it but if you get higher then a 2.5 i would b/c that would look good.

Be very careful about lying. If they check your resume and find that you lied it is all over for you. Your resume can include the fact that you are planning to further your education soon and discuss the type of program you will be taking.

No. You will be caught and either you won't be hired or you will be fired when you're found out. Just start on it first!
