This drug dealer never leaves his house except to case the neighborhood on his Hoveround so he can send people to break into houses. He deals from his house, where people come to buy drugs. We now have prostitutes working our streets and going to buy drugs. They were not here till this man bought his house.......nor were their "clients" who go home to their wives.
The police are working to build a case against him and have used officers for "sting" operations. Whenever the swat team arrives, the drugs have been moved. I have been told this man has a police scanner, but I believe he also has an informant in the DEA's office.
How can we get him to leave, short of commiting crimes ourselves?
We are in Waco, Texas, USA.

Hard to say anything with protest without getting hit with slander.

However you and your neighbors could take turns sitting outside their home on the sidewalk,, just chatting .... all the time, take turns, always have somebody there.

They would hate the attention.

I have run 3 crackhouses and 4 prostitutes from my neighboorhood. First, get in their faces. Get a couple of disposable cameras since they are cheap. Start taking pictures of the vehicles and people visiting the house and make sure they see you taking the pictures. After you get the pictures developed, make print off some copies for everyone in the neighborhood and for the police and distribute the pictures. Send him the pictures as well. Also call the police to report suspicious persons each time you see activity and do it as soon as you see the activity, do not hesitate. Get license plate #'s and descriptions of vehicles for the police. Post the pictures on the internet and let everyone know where they can be found. Become active in, or form a crime watch in your area. If you do not become proactive about this the influence will grow and soon you will be really unhappy and not very safe. These methods have worked for me in Arlington,Texas. Many of these people are up on meth or crack for days at a time, they are relentless, you must be unforgiving, ruthless, and relentless or you will not get rid of the problem.

Document each and every transaction. Date, time place descriptions of persons, cars, license plate numbers.
Video tape this if at all possible. Start a petition and have every neighbor in a 10 block area around this house sign it. Have any business owners in the neighborhood sign it. Take it to the local grocery store and sit outside and ask everyone that shops there if they know whats going on "right down the street."
Take all this information to your local prosecutor's office (not the police) and DEMAND they do something about it or you and all the people on this petition will vote them out of office. DEMAND that they serve the people that elected them or they will be replaced. DEMAND that they fulfill the oath that they swore to uphold when they took office.
If that doesn't work, (the law sometimes does not work. That's why we have the police to begin with.) there is always "street justice." Fight fire with fire, so to speak. There have been several dope houses burnt to the ground in several cities across the country. What is one more?

Wow, you fired a few people up. No matter what they say, the people that say videotape, take pictures and get those license plates are the way to go. Most addicts do not want to be seen. Keep on top of it. It took over two years to get rid of the crack house across the street from my folks but it gone. They will build a case as soon as they get an informant.

Does the "Drug Dealer" claim to be Jesus? Does he have a weapons cache? Is it 1993?
Ok-your gonna need the backing of the BATF and the FBI.
They will handle things from here, with as little blood, chaos and fire as humanly possible.

But, seriously. I've been to Waco. There's a drug dealer on every street. Don't worry about it.

Unfortunately, if it is profitable to sell drugs in that area things will be difficult. Even if you do get that one out, another one is likely to follow, because there is money to be made. I just hope for you and your neighbors sake that the next one isn't more ruthless.

That's the the nature of the black market economy created by the Controlled Substances Act. Unscrupulous individuals get money and power they never would have had. I wouldn't be surprised if he does have a DEA agent in his pocket. Law enforcement corruption has increased exponentially since the Act passed.

Well, you can't. There has to be a body of evidence against the dealer for him/ her to be arrested. As you have stated, police are working on a case, but operations have failed. It is easy to say that people are constantly going in and out of his house, but that's not enough evidence to arrest him or search his home. Drug dealers go where there is demand. And with drug usage at epidemic proportions- there's definitely a demand in your area. The only way to get a dealer to leave is to cut him/her off from his/her clients, or cut him/ her off from his/ her supplier.

There's got to be a way. What about having repeat neighborhood demonstrations on the street in front of his house until he leaves? I know that probably sounds crazy especially if he's the kind of drug dealer who would seek retribution in a violent way, but if you can band together and make your voices heard loud and clear, all of you make it blatantly obvious as a crowd that you all know what's going on and you will not tolerate it in your neighborhood, he might find it easier to just move on.

I would set up a video camera non-stop and then go to a city council meeting and demand they do something about it and now. You could also turn the info over to the police, but it doesn't sound like they are doing much.

If this is for real, start taking video and pictures of everything suspicious as proof. Usually citizens have to work together as a community to end this kind of thing. If the police couldn't find evidence, are you sure there's a problem? It's pretty easy to catch hookers.

Bring in a Walgreens. they don't let anybody tread on their turf! Seriously though, the best thing to do is to band together and get yourself a private detective. Once you have the evidence, give it to our local T.V. and radio stations. There's nothing quite as embarrassing as having the local news prove your case when the SWAT team can't cut it!
