theres a girl who works at the local starbucks that i go to that i think is really cute but i imagine that girls like her probably get hit on all the time which must be annoying. i noticed that she started wearing more makeup and eyeliner recently. i was thinking about mentioning something to the effect that 'pretty girls don't need makeup.' would that be awkward? probably...

Girls and guys get hit on a lot at starbucks. WHen I worked there girls are always giggly around me. It's cute, but I imagine that it must be annoying for the girl workers. They do get hit on by guys alot.

Yeah I think it would be awkward if you said that to her. Just wait for some news event, weather, disaster or some small talk **** like that at first. After a while of doing this small talk becomes deeper and next thing you know you'll be hanging out with her. Just talk to her like a friend at first.

Trust me I have seen it and girls react better to guys they can talk to easily rather than getting just a flat out comment.

Perhaps she'd like to be asked out and is hoping she'd be more attractive if she applied more makeup. You wouldn't score points with me if you said anything negative about my appearance. I'd feel self conscious for the rest of the day.
I saw a pretty model being interviewed on a talk show. She really wanted to be asked out, but guys felt intimidated by her looks. They assumed anyone that pretty would only date celebrities and wouldn't want to to date them. Although she was beautiful, she was also very shy.

I don't know about her, but I know that I hated getting hit on at work and lots of girls do too. Don't mention anything about her makeup, but just try to get some small talk through with her...make her giggle. If she likes you, she won't blow you off and maybe you guys can go from there.

Starbucks is massively over-rated. i'm getting my jollies from pressing my face against the window and licking it, whilst the lovable ones take different peoples orders. basically been chased off two times, yet i think of they are utilising for a courtroom order to give up me from doing it anymore. i will could circulate lower back to window licking on the instructor station cafe. they like it there.

lol, i think your over thinking it. if your kind of a regular to this starbucks, that already gives you an in to start conversation. workers usually like seeing regulars. i wouldn't pull out the pretty girl comments just yet, but start some conversation, show her your a fun guy, and if she likes you, then throw in a few suddle compliments.

Umm...just politely comment, nothing as bold as "pretty girls don't need makeup", (plus it might offend her, alot of women, such as myself wear it because they think it makes them look more beautiful, I hate it when my husband tells me he doesn't like it when I wear makeup) but maybe a comment on her pretty eyes "that makeup makes your eyes stand out" or something like that.

No. In fact I think that she may like it. Everyone likes a good comment. Makes the day an easier one. Think about if a person came up to you randomly and said "Hey I like your shirt." Doesn't that make you feel good? Go for it. Good luck and God bless
