I was in a relationship in which my girlfriend decided I wasn't worth enough to her. I did what I I knew I had to, and well she turned 18 and found her self free to do more than she ever wanted, and took that freedom, and broke up with me.

Sup Gus ! I know exactly what you mean ! The reason why women do this is because they can ! Plus they know you will be dumb enough to try to get them back. Girls that do this usually have their hooks into another relationship before they let the other one go. The heart ache is less because they are dating somone new quick ! Mean while you are sitting around listening to slow jams crying lol.........This is life..Best way to to avoid this is to be less of a push over. This usually happens to push overs

First off how do we know what kind of relationship you all had? That question is too general to answer for real. If she decided to move on from you then there is something that you did or were not doing to fulfill the relationship.

People want to be single for various reasons. For the record, as many men throw away relationships as women do probably more because most men are not satisfied with being with one woman. But it is better that she left you than to be sneaking around cheating or doing things you don't like and you find out the hard way.

I agree with an earlier post that we're dumb! *grin* I think it's just a general rule. In relationships, there is always one person who is more into the relationship than the other. That doesn't mean that the other person is bad...I don't like to place blame anywhere! However, if a woman wants to set a guy free, I think the guy should be thankful that she didn't cheat on him and take advantage of the situation by trying to have her cake and eat it too.

Sometimes, I have found, when a guy thinks that he is doing what he should do, it is just not what I need. It is not necessarily that we want to be free, as much as, we want to find a person that will be sensitive to our needs as a woman. Many men don't take the time to realize how different we are. We think differently about most things, especialy about feelings.

SO, you've recently been hurt by a woman who didn't realize what she had? Sorry to hear that. Some people just are not ready for commitment. Maybe you were not the right match. It doesn't matter how fantastic you are. If it is not meant to be, it's just not meant to be. You will be the right one for somebody-- that's how it seems to work.

because all though you may have a good thing some times guys can drive a girl crazy.
examples..
checking her cell phone (where's the privacy and trust)
you like to hang with your friends but check up on her when she's out with her friends (back off she needs her space)
trying to have a say so over what she wears (she's grown )

Not sure what you are talking about...commitment? Maybe they wanted to see what else was out there before taking the next step. If the person you are speaking of was with someone from when she was young, she hasn't experienced the world yet, and wants to don't blame her for it.

Girls/women thinks that we can change men like we change our undies.(Yes ,I mean every day).. The problem is our youth and beauty does not stay long, it hit us with loneliness if we are no longer attractive to men. Men even they are in their 45,55,65 are still sexy, and ouch! they like younger women. If I found a good man I will keep him till death do us part. Thanks for your question, it hit the spot..

maybe because what they have is not what they are looking for, maybe they would rather be with a jerk! then when they realize they have a jerk, they start to grow up and look for the nice guy they already lost.maybe they are with a jerk and he just does not realize he is one.we should all be free.
