Not entirely sure what you are asking, but will answer based on my interpretation of the question.

If your partner is threatening to not see your son if you take him away with you, then good. People who use threats that involve the kids are scum; fight with each other all you want but leave the kids out of it.

If your partner is leveling threats regarding your son, he/she doesn't really care about the kid, it's all about winning and beating you. Not the person you want around your son.

So leave and let said partner take a flying leap. Hope that was in line with what you were asking.

Ok I am a little confused by what you are trying to say. You are going to leave your partner and take the child? First off if you are in a gay situation and the person hasn't adopted the child then he would not be responsible to visit or anything else for that matter. Now he may just be saying that to you to keep you from taking the child and breaking up with him. If he is willing to tell you that then he doesn't love the child anyway. Move on, find someone who will love you and the child without threats. If you are not in a gay situation forgive me but when people say partner and you play on words at the end of your sentence I got confused.

Good, because if he is going to use the child as a pawn in the relationship, he does not deserve to have a child!! Not much of a man either!!
