is it me or the more you hear japanese spoken and listen to music in japanese you become a lot more comfortable with the language and you can listen to Japanese music and can like it just as much as regular english?

i think this happens with any language you immerse yourself in. your ear becomes adjusted to it. before coming to the states, i had never heard spanish before and now when i hear it, it blends in with the english around me and sometimes it takes me a few moments to realize when i'm listening to spanish not english on the radio (where i live there are many spanish speakers). that's good though for you. other people think all foreign music sounds strange to them and being able to appreciate other languages and their culture and music is great =]

Personally, I traditional Japanese music. It's true that the more you listen to it, the more you like it -- at least it's true for me.

In Japanese, they have many words are translate from English by what pronunciation.

Like Camera in Japanese is Cam- Ma-Ra
Mango is "Man(as Armando) Go"
America is " A-Me-Ri-Ka"

Totally agree. Western and Eastern music is so different, yet, I love both.

its not just you. its true for anything if you think about it. the more you get used to something the more it grows on you and you eventually become accustomed to it.
