I was waiting at a bar, a bar that I had been going to for most of a year, for some friends to arrive, but the waitress insisted I buy something to drink, or leave.
I got really mad and shouted for everyone to hear... "I'm a faithful customer, coming here already for a year, but you treat me like this?" My buddies and other people there who knew me all laughed and I'm sure I was very entertaining.... Then as I stepped out on the porch, the owner followed me out threatening me with a chair, but then as I faced him , somebody hit me in the back of the head.
All I remember is all the scenery changing to sideways and me sprawled on the ground... Then my friends arrived to see it...
I went home and I hurt so bad...
I still am not really ok .

never go back.
write reviews on places like yelp.com telling what happened.
tell people not to go there.
did you call the police and try to prosecute someone for the attack ?
did you call your local news station and try to get interviewed, so that they lose business ?

sink them with a negative add campaign, or just hate them,
but never ever go back.

I am an Indian based at Chennai. Aged about 45 yrs.I'm very choosy about where I eat and drink. Immediatly after leaving college I joined a pharma company as a medical representative. More disposable time and money in hand and also guys interested in a bash at bars led me to a particular bar in the heart of Chennai. It's almost 25 years Ive been frequenting this place where one finds warmth and courtesy. I've visited many places in India and abroad but none to match this little cosy comfortable tavern. The name of the bar is Crystal within Hotel Ranjith.

Hell no, I'd never go there again. In fact I'd file a police report and get a good *** lawyer. I run a bar/night club and we do have a strict drink minimum policy but we also have a policy against assaulting the customers. Make an example out of that bar.

No! As obnoxious as it may be for a business owner (and I work in customer service), the customer is always right. And that doesn't mean bludgeoning a man in the back of the head.

Folks like that don't deserve your business. Check out a local alternative paper for better hangouts. And tip: check out area food and entertainment blogs.

I think you still have an obligation to go back and order something to drink. They are a business after all, not a free space for your lazy azz to hang and without buying anything.

Maybe you could order a madass, or a sleeper car?

what a bunch of jerks. if you're going to pay five bucks for a beer, it better be a bar with good music, good-looking women, and a whole lot of those cute little napkins. and i don't want a fricken cherry in every mixed drink i order...jesus! lol. oh sorry.

oh answer: i would not go back, no.
