When I saw it on the menu the other day I didn't know what to think. Im just curious what everyone else thinks about having beer in a childrens arcade.

I don't see a problem with this at all. Most adults who would order a beer will be the people who drink at home anyways. I assume Chuck E Cheese either has a limit on how many beers they will server one person or at least keeps an eye on anyone who has had more then 1 or2. People aren't going to go hang out at Chuck E Cheese to get drunk but a beer with your pizza (if you can call what Chuck E Cheese make pizza) is good. If a kid dose happen to pick up a beer and take a drink most of them would spit it out becuase they wouldn't like the taste.

RE: Beer at Chuck E Cheese? Does anyone know if they serve beer at Chuck E Cheese? I heard that they do but can't find info on their website. Can you get it in pitchers? How much does it cost? I have a feeling the adults at my kid's birthday party may need a little alcohol to soothe the nerves. Thanks.

I say its all for marketing purposes. If there is beer they figure they can attract more parents with children. Parents now have something to do while their kids run around screaming. On the other hand if a parent gets lets say (Tipsy) they might spend more money or give their children more money to play games. I mean Of Course little johnny needs 1 million tickets to get that plasma TV.

Certainly. Nobody would go there to sit and get drunk. But to have a beer or two while the kids are running around having fun is no big deal. I see there are several people who missed their calling as abolitionists. That seems to be a little radical.

I don't think they should have beer at places like that. I went to a Brownie Scout gathering at a place similar to chuckees' where one of the parents had a pitcher of beer on their table amongst kids. Don't these people have to drive their kids home? I don't get it.

It is for the parents. What else do they do at parent's where little kids are running around screaming?

Of course the waitors and staff will watch and make sure the little kids don't try to try some from a table. And of course would only sell it to adults.

Wow!

no I agree with ya! It shouldnt be there for a few reasons!
Some people cant handle alcohol and get pretty mean and dont need to be around kids while intoxicated! and plus then some people also dont know when to say enuf then would be driving home drunk with their or other peoples kids in their vehicle!
Plus thats a childrens place for them to have fun! Not for people to be partying!

yes, that place is out of control, what mom or dad would not want a refreshing sip of beer, or a pitcher or two?
Disneyland has beer, why should Chuck E Cheese not?

being a former stepdad to 3 WILD kids, having a beer or 2 while there with everyone elses kids screaming was just sanity juice for me, and it makes it more fun to play ski ball

I went there once with a date and her niece.
If it wasn't for beer I would have run out the door screaming.
