Well there alot of religions that have gods and I wonder why the Christian god doesn't have a name. Like the Muslim god is Allah. So if people say 'God' they could mean another god. If there is a name for God, then what is it and why don't people call him by that.

In all religions, God is the "I Am", the all-powerful being who created everthing, then gave man dominion over all. As God exists, everything exists, so calling God the "I Am" is more realistic that giving God a name like Yahweh, Allah, etc. God IS existence. God is AM! To call God a HE or a SHE or a person is limiting God to our minute understanding of existence.

Christians and Jews worship the same God.
He told Moses His name is "I AM "
In Hebrew, that sounds like Yahweh.

Christians believe Jesus is God's only Son, the Messiah.
Jesus also said "I and my Father are one."
That means Jesus is also God. Not a separate God but
part of God along with The Holy Spirit.
So we are correct to say that "Jesus" is God's name.

Also..... Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
and....." The Lion of The Tribe of Judah"

But His favorite thing for us to call Him is "Abba" which means Daddy.

just to let you know, Allah and God are the same thing. Allah is Arabic for God. Even Arab Christians call God Allah. Non-Arab Muslims say Allah, because the Quran was revealed in the Arabic language, so Allah is the name that is revealed.

Lord is a call in simple terms as Queen is a call. Jehovah is God's call in simple terms as Elizabeth is the Queens call. interior the previous King James bible it tells you there 1000's of circumstances that God's call is Jehovah. It became removed from the bible so as that individuals could think of Jesus became God. He became the son of Jehovah God.

Allah is God... but god is called by lots of names.... god almighty, king of king's, god, good, Jehovah, depends on what part of the bible you are reading..higher power. or what religion you belong to.... my own belief is that there is a higher power a god like and we have to find a level to connect with it and we need to learn to life as brothers and sister's of each other in love and that we walk in all that is good for all.
