...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. No one is perfect, so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship and children's programs, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.

Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them patiently and persistently.

Won't you join us in worship this week?

Yes I will come to your church... (I do attend my own)

I am so glad that this is true for your Church.

Wow, keep it up and protect the unity and the wonderfull fellowship. (It is also good to see the note about not being perfect - more often than not because our God is so Holy people think we should be perfect and as Holy as He is - of course we strive toward to that, but we are at different stages of our walk.... Awesome...)

I already have 2 religious communities.

The Pagan community, we come together for many celebrations throughout the year.

And UU church, which we attend every Sunday.

Neither are Christian churches, but I find all the same wonderful things there that you mention-- peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfilment, fellowship, and my soul already had eternal life whether I go to church or not.

What you say is very nice and all, and your input is appreciated. And perhaps your church truly is like this - there are some about.

However, that doesn't make every church like yours, or every group of christians like yours.

Truly, true hearted christians are becoming more and more of a minority and a rare find.

I'll keep communing with god on my boulder, thank you. I've taken the risk with churches - with an open heart and mind - too many times. Every child learns after enough tries to stop touching the hot stove because they will get burned.

The worst burn I'll get on my boulder is a sunburn if I stay up there too long. That's better by a long shot that an emotional and spiritual burn.

I dont wanna offend you nor your religion.I respect all the religion as a Muslim and i also respect Christianity !
The problem is:
1) How can a same person be GOD and then convert himself to Jesus and as a Jusus worship God ???
If he is Jesus, and he is worshiping God that means he is worshipping himself isnt ? Becuase he is God also ??

2) After all these recent cases of Gay Prists, etc...and also wordings taken out in the speech of Pope regarding muslims, many people mostly Christians are getting away from it !

I am a muslim, if anyone wants to know more or have any questions...Just write to me view my profile !
and in the end, please forgive me if I have somehow insulted your religion or you !

If there is one place you will surely not hear the truth about Christianity, it is in a Church. Church services, like our current school system, is homogenized to include everyone. There are few Truths fed to the masses in this fashion - but lots of opinions and propaganda.

Peace!

I've spent the majority of my formative years as a Christian.

These days, the only way I will set foot in a church is if someone calls 911 :)

I think I've seen all I need to know about "church"

Your churches version of Christianity?? No thanks, I've been through "the drill" at several so-called "Chrisitian" churches. There is a great deal of "dislike" (to put it mildly) for other sects and those that have different beliefs and lifestyles...among other things.

But really, thanks for the offer.
