like i just signed up and only 3 months in i have to use my insurance for a knee surgery, which will cover just about 100% will he see any backlash from that, im new so i dont know?

Only if the company cancels your policy. Then he would loose commission and renewal pay.

If an agent writes a lot of business that quickly produces large claims, the insurance company might subject him to stricter underwriting standards, but the agent won't have to pay the claims out of his pocket.

Your claims will not affect the agent. Agent will be affected, if you cancel the policy in less than 1 year. Some insurers will measure the agent performance based on quality renewal. If the cancellation is due to bad service than the agent will be penalised by not having additional bonus.

Don't worry, just use the insurance for the surgery. Your agent will be very happy as he already convinced you to sign up this plan and benefited from it
