Probably that they are not really as gullible, square and not so aware as you think they are. Perhaps they are thinking great thoughts, but have trouble expressing them. I think though, for the most part, you could learn a lot about faith.

You might find that they possess a lot of wisdom but their views are just different from yours. You owe it to yourself to give people the benefit of the doubt, listen to opposing views, and then make an intelligent reasoned decision of your own.

if you cannot learn at least one thing from everyone you meet,
then you are going to stagnate.
when you stop learning, then you might as well sit on you couch and judge people.
