Ok I have a friend that was a former college teacher of mine and we became friends. Well we talk over email alot and we have gone to lunch a couple of times and I got her a baby gift b/c she is about to have a baby in a couple of weeks. Well she said that she wanted to go get pedicures "soon" and that was at the end of last month. I asked her through email a couple of weeks ago if she still wanted to go but in her response email she didnt even mention anything about it. Well its been about 10 days now since she last emailed me and she usually never goes this long without responding to me. I have written her again to ask her if it were ok if I brang a meal over after the baby is born. I feel like she doesnt want to go get pedicures.. so she is putting off answering me for awhile so more time will go by and then she will have her baby and then not be able to go. She could have just said no. I dont know if this is right or not.. what do you think? And we dont talk on the phone..

I think this woman is about to have a baby. When I was pregnant in the last couple of weeks I could barely stuff my feet into shoes 2 sizes too big. Maybe she has other things on her mind, like the birth of her baby. Maybe she just can't tolerate your neediness.

she could have had the baby early so that might b y. or she got uncomfortable with the growing closeness of the relationship.
