There is this girl who I like, but she never calls. Well we went on a date about 6 weeks ago, and it went well, but she moved 2 hours away. She did say that she wanted me to visit her a few weeks ago, so we scheduled a weekend for me to come up. She never calls me, and when she does it is because she is calling me back. I called her a week ago, and asked her to call me last weekend, and failed to do so. My question is should I just wait for her to call me, and if she doesn't by friday just forget about the trip?

It sounds like a one-sided relationship. Maybe you like her more than she likes you. I'm sure she does like you a little bit or she wouldn't invite you to spend the weekend with her. But if she REALLY REALLY wanted to see you and get to know you, believe me, she would call. It could be that she just wants a casual relationship right now, and is afraid that if she calls too much it will seem like things are getting too serious. Maybe you could trying texting her instead of calling. Text something like -- "Looking forward to seeing you this weekend." If the date is not still on, that will force her to call you and tell you. If it IS still on, then she will reply "me too" or something to that effect. Good luck :)

long distance relationships are hard to begin with, if you guys aren't talking that much already... it will just get harder. If she doesn't call to confirm your plans before the weekend, then no, I wouldn't go- and tell her you didn't know you were still on since you didn't hear from her all week. Good luck!

Call her back. Just tell her that you wanted to check with her to see if you were still on for the weekend. If she says no, just say something like this, "Yea, I was just wondering , because I kind of forgot about it, and made other plans myself. But if you still wanted to get together, I was going to postpone my other plans until next week." That way you don't look desperate, but you are still being considerate.

I agree with you. It seems that you are going out of your way to connect with her and on her side she just doesn't seem to be responding the same way. If she doesn't call move on.

Maybe she just doesn't like talking on the phone, or is nervous when talking on the phone.

What is wrong with you she is trying to get you alone away from your surroundings to have her way with you. Please don't let down the male population. Go get it. Just show up.
