i've tried speech therapy, but it doesnt work, at least not for me. i think its because the teacher has no idea wat she's talking about because she's never stutter'd a day in her life and doesnt kno anyone that stutters. she's juss a quack!

You need to find a speech therapist who specializes in working with stutterers. One of my uncles found one near him through The Stuttering Foundation. Their web site is www.stutteringhelp.org. Click on "referrals" in the left margin and then your country. If there is no specialist near you, get the Foundation's book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer."

I've heard that singing helps with stuttering. Do you sing? Even just along with the radio in the house or car? At the very least, it would be fun!
