well of course you will get results what are you praying for?

Matthew 6:5-15

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

YES!!! I have been blessed many times through prayer. I got exactly the husband I prayed for and also the son I prayed for. The time will be right and the prayer will be answered. Sometimes the answer is no....but that is a "result" of sorts.

I prayed for my father's salvation for, oh, about ten years. I never saw one bit of evidence that my prayers were having any impact at all. However, I did not stop praying.

Four days before my father passed away, at age 91, my sister led him to faith in Jesus as his savior. He had not believed for 90 years, 11 months and 361 days.

Never give up. Nothing is impossible for God.

Sometimes , but be sure to pray in God's will or you might not.
God says in His Word that He would not withhold any good thing from us , but He also knows our motives when we pray.
Is it something that you have need for ?
Many times God didn't give me what I prayed for , but instead gave me what I needed much more and I have learned to trust Him, that He knows me better than I know myself and therefore knows what I need , when I don't know.

God will ALWAYS answer your prayer.
however it might not be the answer you want, but it most certainly will be the answer you need!
There have been many times when I have prayed for something and my answer was totally different. I didnt know it at the time, but it was exactly what I needed! God knows us better than we know ourselves

1John 5:14 and 15 says this: This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

The operational words there are "according to His will." How can you know what the will of God is? You must enter into a relationship with Him. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will have a saving relationship with God.

THEN, if you ask according to His will, He will hear you... and if He hears you, you know that you have the things you have asked for.

Yes, God has proven Himself faithful to His word over and over and over again.

If prayer really worked we wouldn't need modern medicine. Prayer might have a weak placebo effect but nothing else.

Of course. remember though, God always answers on time, maybe just not on your time
the important thing to remember is that you must have faith in everything. if it is to be then it will be.
