I am very surprised the police aren't interested even to the point that they didn't go to the lady's house! And the RSPCA what are they there for if it isn't to help out in situations like this! I was furiouse when i read what happened to you. First of all go to your local council and submit the address, she will be paying poll tax so she is on the electoroll, public can access this why else do we get all of this junk mail and dodgy phone calls selling this that and the other! It's the council or even try your public library, go to citizens advice aswell and make an appt to see someone, it will be a solicitor you talk to so they will be qualified enough to help you and it won't cost a thing try get this info before you go to citizens advice, but if you are unable to find her name citizens advice will be a great help by advising you which step you need to take. After all of this is sorted or atleast you have atlast gained some advice and you are able to go to court please go to your local paper and tell them what happened and the negative way you were treated by the police and also the RSPCA i think that is dreadful does this staffi have to kill or maim someone or another family pet before they do something, the woman who owns the staffi is to blame she shouldn't have a dog that she can't keep control of!!! It's the likes of you who suffers when you are out with your very obedient tame loyal family pet, who's to say the way your poor dog feels now when he goes out!! Next time it could be a child that staffi gets hold of then whats the police going to do, as if our pets are nothing, in some peoples cases their pets are all they have in their lives and if they are anything like me they are their children!!I so hope you get somewhere pleases keep in touch and let me know how you are getting on, I hope your dog is well soon : )

I don't know if you called the police at the time of the attack, but you can still do it now, and have them make a report. Couple of days later, get a copy of the report. It'll have all the info you need, to include name, address, phone #, and Social Security #.
Been there, done that!

If you are in the U.K. it's simple. Go to the local post office where she lives and ask to see the electoral register. Look up the address and then you will have the name. If the Post Office doesn't have it - you can view it at the main library.

The RSPCA should help you with this (this is why I don't give to the RSPCA) you can look up the name as others have explained through their answers. Get onto the electoral roll or wwwB4Usearch.com should also be able to help to find out her name, ask around also, someone may know who they are.
Good luck.

A reverse cell lookup service I have utilized is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=538

Enter the number in the framework and they will let you know a great deal of informations about the telephone number and the person who claims it.

In the event that they have extra subtle elements you will need to pay for the report. If you need to reverse lookup one phone or area line telephone number you will be charged about $15 yet in the event that you have to reverse lookup more than one telephone or cell number you can get a years access to their database.

Free reverse telephone lookup destinations generally provide the most essential of information, for example, name and it works just for landlines. To get further information, cash will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what might be found through the telephone directory.

The best thing is that you can get informations about anybody!! A reverse cell phone lookup service I have used is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=538
