All species start with a healthy stock of earlier species interbreeding within a given group, as well as with closely related outside groups. Traits that make survival easier are passed on, while weaker traits are mostly lost through death of the weaker members. There has never been a case (that I'm aware of) of an entire (higher lifeform) species descending from only two parent members.

Someone pointed out that I said "that I'm aware of". My awareness comes from years of study, including the various college anatomy, genetics, and chemistry classes required for my degrees as a Certified Surgical Technologist and Certified Surgical First Assistant. My education is real, is not confined to one old book, and is the result of 4 decades of intense study.

This is true...not enough genetic variety. I mean, think of the problems that happen when people who are closely related produce children! It would be impossible for us to be the way we are from just two people.

And where did those come from and where did the ones before that come from and the ones before that?

Your statement " There has never been a case (that I'm aware of) of an entire (higher lifeform) species descending from only two parent members."

How the heck would you know that? You would have had to witness that happen, or know of someone that witnessed it. You are assuming that didn't happen. That is it. You have no evidence to back that up.
It is not unreasonable to assume that Adam and Eve carried genetic information that was capable of differentiating over successive generations. Both are speculation. It is up to you which you prefer to believe.

Yeah, it's a totally crazy idea because everyone knows humans started out with one since one preceeds two. The same applies for a species. You can have 10 members of a species without first having one member, and then two members, and then three members, etc. first. There has never been a case where memebers of a species just all came into existence at once. (Except for the fact that species are man-made classifications and only exist because we choose to classify organisms in such manner.)

because that's what God told us. And if you are a true believer, it's reason enough. Also, you're wrong. a species has a begining. it began with two and expanded from there. A new species is created when a genetic alteration occurs as a result of an already existing species mating to produce an offspring. So, no matter what species you refer too, there was an origin of two.

The harder question is how did every species who just happen to all be male and female, come from ONE organism...we know that all but a few species require a male and a female to reproduce...so did one organism split and become one female and on male? Were there multiple organisms?

Why is it so hard to believe that there was a beginning of the human race with two people? Two is easier to believe then one.

Whats even crazier is that some people think we evolved from animals (like monkeys). If that were true then sooner or later all the monkeys would have evolved into humans and there would be no monkeys left. I've never seen anything evolve, yeah they say it happens over a long stretch of time but still, I've never even seen anything partially evolving into a human. The truth is that my parents were human, and their parents before them were human, and their parents parents were humans and it was always that way. My son is human and his children will be human and his children will have human children...it doesn't change. Peoples bodies do not just evolve to adapt to a new climate or whatever it is you people believe. Evolution is nothing but a lie to stop people from believing in whats real. God.

The aliens made way more than just two of us. Look how crappy of a species we are. Do you think two humans would have been suffice with all the various afflictions we fall victim to? Even before birth, days after conception even, plenty can go horribly wrong. It would make sense to have a large gene pool to tweak and refine.

Genesis 2

2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
The word Host means " a mass of people".
Verse 7 says God FORMED Adam.
Yep, there were others before Adam

If you refer to "Adam and Eve", that is how early man tried to explain his world, and also may simply refer to the first one "who walked with God" or, who became enlightened.

"Adam" simply means "man" and so, is also a generalized term, not necessarily one certain man (although it could be) it is also a word that means "earth" which is what Adam is supposedly made from. I guess we are all made of such stuff, and if you bring down the gates in your mind you might just realize that the stuff we are made of is the Earth "come to life" and we are the voice of the Earth.

"The machines have become self-aware." (Terminator)
Instead say: "The Earth has become self-aware!"

It is a whimsical contemplation.

Mitochondrial Eve (mt-mrca) is the name given by researchers to the woman who is the matrilineal most recent common ancestor (MRCA) for all living humans. Passed down from mothers to offspring for over a hundred thousand years, her mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is now found in all living humans: every mtDNA in every living person is derived from hers. Mitochondrial Eve is the female counterpart of the Y-chromosomal Adam, the patrilineal most recent common ancestor.

By analyzing DNA from people in all regions of the world, geneticist Spencer Wells has concluded that all humans alive today are descended from a single man who lived in Africa around 60,000 - 90,000 years ago.
