London and Paris are both great with many eye catching sights and things to do. Don't over think this to much. Your hotels will set you up with good tours and give you many choices. In London the changing of the Guard, Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London. Piccadilly Circus and of course London bridge and Big Ben. There are many other sights as well. You will have a blast.

My family and I also went to a trip to Europe for 10 days. But, because the main trip was to Lourdes, we were only in Paris for 2 days. In Paris, we went to the Eiffel Tower and to a museum (unfortunately, the museum was closed that day). On that trip, we were in London for 1 day. However, Dad had a business trip to London 6 months later. So, I can say that London is INCREDIBLY BORING. Sorry if that is going to spoil your trip.
