Jesus was the first to seperate church & state. Remember the money-changers in the Temple? He said give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's (his image was on the coins). Truly spiritual people seperate themselves from politics.

If you read the teachings of Jesus there is no way any Christian could vote for the Republican Party in the USA. Obviously, those who call themselves Christian and vote Republican are not really Christians.

Jesus wouldn't be into democratic elections. the Christians call Jesus "king" and "lord". when under a monarchy you don't get a vote.
