God is a consciousness that know's all and is here to help us if we meet Him "halfway"... He helps those who help themselves by making it easier for them. He gives them the will and determintation.. he gives strength and obediance... he makes life more bearable.

I believe an afterlife in heaven is rewarded, there is no latter... i believe hell is just a crematory for souls... they just get annihilated.

I do accept karma because it's proven itself constantly to me.

I only do what is right in the eyes of the Lord... i know the difference... i've only ever been able to do what is right... i find it against my nature to do what is wrong.

I KNOW i have a destiny and it will be fullfilled... sooner than most think.

I've learned that life is far from easy, nothing comes free... everything has a price. It has taught me that no matter what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. I've also learned that we all end up alone... some of us, however, start alone and remain alone... something i know all too well. But in essence, you may think that "special someone" fills a void in your life but he/she really doesn't... there is always a desire for something more. I've also learned that people here are lost, they have no sense of self anymore, they are wrapped up trying to be like someone or something that they arent constantly clinging onto the idea of being 'perfect' trying to prove themselves to the world that they are something special when they really are no where close. I've learned that there is no compassion.. no one cares, we are adrift in an endless cycle of hope and dissapointment. I learned that life on Earth is shiit.

Our survival is a thing of the past... our only hope rests in God's hands... and his Son.

I admire no one, if there's one thing that i've learned and quite possibly the most important thing is that we must be ourselves and love ourselves for who we are, because some of us do not have the luxery of love in our lives...so we have to rely on ourselves for comfort. I admire myself (i'm not chauvinistic though... i'm very humble and modest) because i've worked hard all my life to be the person that i am... it's never been easy.

I find peace through my artwork, my writing and through knowledge, education and searching for the truth through God.

What is your concept of god?
+ I have heard many (I majored in religion), and I find none that are compelling belief in any form.

Do you think this life is all there is, or do you believe in an afterlife?
+ I do not believe in any form of an afterlife that involves memory, spirit, soul, etc. No definition of life continues after the body dies.

Do you accept the concept of karma, in the sense of cause and effect?
+ Cause & effect, in a limited way, but only insofar as what we think and do changes us in the thinking and doing of the actions.

What is your moral code in relation to right and wrong?
"Do not do to others what you would not want done to you in similar circumstances."

Do you believe you have a destiny, and do you see yourself as here to fullfill it?
+ No destiny. I create my own purpose, and so does everyone else.

What has life taught you so far?
+ That it is short, that no one is any better or worse than anyone else, that we are in far less control than we like to believe, that prayer does not work, that we are all "temporarily-abled," that no relationship lasts forever, that the joy of children is pure, that music, art, & poetry are healing.

Do you believe our survival on planet earth is being threatened?
+ Survival of life in this planet has always been threatened. Global warming is the latest threat, but 65,000,000 years ago a crashing meteor almost wiped out all life on the planet.

Whom do you admire most in this world, historical or living?
+ Many: Voltaire, Samuel Clemens, H.L. Mencken, Charles Darwin, Copernicus, Galileo, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Eleanor Roosevelt, Sigmund Freud, Carl Rogers, George Gershwin, Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein, Lorenz Hart, Douglas Adams, Richard Dawkins.

How do you find peace within yourself?
+ Meditation, walking, composing & playing music, reading.

God- God is love, we all have god within us and are all connected through love/god.

I believe in the afterlife, I believe it is much like earth with no illness or suffering of anykind and all of our loved ones and pets are alive and well.

Karma- what you put out always comes back even if it takes years.

Moral code- I believe in personal responsibility and never doing anything that I wouldn't be proud to tell my children and the man I love what I have done.

Destiny- We choose to take the path we take, there are many paths in this life and many obstacles particular to each path. The direction we take is of our own choosing.

So far, if you do the work than anything is possible and nothing in your life is under your control except for how you react to situations and people....

Survival on planet earth is threatened but I can only do so much and pray that my childrens children have a better sense of conservation than my parents and their parents before them did.

I admire my 16yr old daughter the most. She has a strength and independence that just baffles me. I am strong and independant and she is much stronger and more independant that I ever could imagine.

I go to bed every night with a great since of peace because I now that I did my best not to harm anyone including myself and that I tried to teach my children something and that my husband, children, and parents all went to bed tonight knowing that I love them.

Generally, god is some sort of sentient superbeing. Other than that, it depends on the specific religion you're talking about. I tend to just let religious people define their own myths.

When you die, you're just dead. You only live on in the memories of others.

There are consequences for your actions, but it is not a mystical payback system.

My moral code is based on humanistic principles.

There is no destiny. The universe is inherently non-deterministic.

Life has taught me too much to list here.

Our survival is always threatened. We, as a species, are competing against other species, other people, and fighting the environment. The vast majority of all animals that ever lived are now extinct. We should probalby plan better to survive.

I admire many people. It's hard to pick one.

I find peace through realizing the world is pretty much as it seems, without any need for mystical bullcrap.

God is a fiction. So is afterlife. I know nothing about karma. My moral code derives from evolution, which applies to societies as well as to species: an act is moral if it benefits society, immoral if it is a detriment, and amoral if it has no significant expected effect on society at large. I have no defined destiny. I have learned that there is no reason to believe in any sort of god. Our survival on earth has been at risk for millions of years; the current threats are different in character only. I admire Richard Feynman. I don't have to find inner peace; it is just there.
Live long and prosper.

1.) I believe in a Higher Power; a loving God, a God that created us because he loved us - He wants us to have faith in Him so we can spend eternity in His presence. He's there to listen to us when we need Him, He's there when we've got nothing left to give, or no one left to talk to. He was there for me when I was at my worst, I honestly believe, that without His love, promise, and guidance, that I wouldn't be here today.

[An example of this would be when I was camping in Utah with other women who were going through a rough time, we had lost a part of ourselves and were tryin' to get it back.. Anyway, we were having a group discussion and we were asked about our Higher Power or if we even believed in God - I said that I wasn't sure if He heard me or even cared about me, because I felt that He didn't listen to me because I had let Him down when I let myself down, I had lost faith.. A few seconds after that, the group went silent - I looked up in the night sky and saw this giant ball of light come down from the Heavens and shoot across the horizon for about three seconds.. No one else saw what I saw.. I was so shocked and shaken up that I jumped onto my friend's lap and almost started crying.. Right then and there, I knew that was a sign from God, letting me know, reassuring me that He was there, He will always be there for me. Many have tried to tell me that I saw a shooting star, a coment, or a plane - I grew up in the country - I know what a plane looks like, a coment looks like, and a shooting star. This had no tail, made no noise, and moved like an angel.. It was obviously a sign meant for me, and I am so thankful that God heard me that day because like I said, I would not be here if it weren't for His love.]

2.) I know this is the only life I'll ever have, so I better make the best of it. As for afterlife, yes, I do believe there is a place where souls go after the body has passed on.

3.) Cause and effect? When you make a choice there's always going to be a consequence. Karma is something that comes back to you - Something your conscience was trying to get through to you about, but since you ignored it, fate has played a role in it.

4.) I believe I have a purpose in my life; to help others, teach others, be a positive role-model, and help others achieve their dreams and get through their strife. The cards I have been dealt haven't been the best, but I've learned to work with them, try harder, never give up, and strive for the best because when you have a heart that never quits, you will go far - Especially if you want to help others.

5.) Life has taught me that I can never give up, never be "too-sure" on what the outcome may be, I can't judge a book by its cover, there's always something that I haven't learned, that I have lied to those I love - they will never forget the happiness and love and feelings I made them feel. Never quit, live strong.

6.) I don't feel survival is being threatened, I think many people are on the wrong track - too many are losing sight of their true dreams and are trying to fit in with the media, fashion, and are trying to make more money. No one looks beyond the skin anymore, they only see what you have to offer them, they drink, they party, they never take time out to pray. God is being abandoned by his children, and it makes me sad because I know what its like to have someone you love so much to just turn away, lose hope/faith in you, and leave you.

7.) Admire most in this world? People who stand up for something they firmly believe in. People who have compassion towards those at our mercy; animals. People who care about others, who feel bad when they've done you wrong, who sincerely love you and mean the things they say, individuals who will never leave you for your mistakes or judge you by your past, and persons who believe in God and they're not afraid to say it.

8.) I find my peace by trying to make this world a better place. I'm involved in animal rights, I've created groups that help make others aware of the torture and cruelty that animals go through on a daily basis. I find peace when I look at my colt, Rocky, and I know I am good to him, I love him so much - And my other horses, I know I was a good rider and owner because I never hurt them, I have always had compassion for animals because I connect with them more than I connect with humans, honestly, sometimes I hate people because they can be SO CRUEL. I will always love animals, and seeing them when they're happy, rescued, or safe - it brings me peace.
