Good question....I know that Dopamine is broken down into norepinephrine by dopamine B-hydroxylase...and then norepinephrine is broken down into epinephrine by phenylethanolamine N-Methyltransferase. I do not know what breaks Epinephrine down.

Actually I just found an article about this....Looks like Epinephrine is broken down by catechol-O-methyl transferase into metanephrine.

Catechols (epinephrine and norepinephrine are catecholamines) are metabolized by MAO (Mono Amine Oxidase) and COMT (Catechol-O-Methyl Transferase). This can occur in either order; that is, MAO or COMT can work first.
