If you don't want the crap kicked out of you, then the answer is no. Act like nothing's going on, then when they go out you can move out and on. Keep in mind that if someone who actually threatens you with bodily harm because they "love" you is crazy so you may have to go into serious hiding. Remember, too, that a restraining order does not make you bullet proof. Good luck.

Absolutely!!!!! You may first want to get out, but go somewhere they would never find you. If you check into a hotel do it in another town and not under your name. Pay cash do not use your credit card and try to stay away from loved ones. When you find your "safe house" call the cops immediately! Do this instead of going to work, school, etc. And if you are being followed, wait around till they leave and then explain you situtation to someone else, boss or teacher. Do not pack a bag, you do not want the other person to know what you are up to. Good Luck and stay safe!

You need to leave now. Call the cops after you've gone because sometimes they cant do anything and the fact that you called will infuriate your partner and probably make them hurt you. Go to someone you trust, if you have no one go to a women's shelter. Dont think these are just threats and they'll never do it. Even if that was the case you don't want to test it and find out. Trust me I was stupid once and thought he loved e and would never hurt me and I had an 11 month marriage of hell, the last 3 months I spent locked in a hotel room being beaten and raped when ever he felt like it and having my two month old son used as leverage against me. Dont put yourself through this. Your deserve better and you will find someone who loves you and protects you, all you need to do is walk out the door...Now!

Yes, call the police and let them know exactly what that person is saying. If the person leaves any voicemails for you or writes the threats on a note or anything you need to keep those things.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! First you wait for that CERTAIN moment, when your alone, then get yourself out of that situation........ don't take anything, just your purse (I.D's) and just the clothes on your back, once your safe, then call the Police & Shelters if you need one, and don't RETURN to that person! some women feel that they would be better off if they return and stay with that person, but NO, do not call police until your out of the house, some men only give your a short escape moment window to get out, take that moment, and run for your life............ don't look back. get out, stay out and call police from somewhere safe........... not a close by neighbors house, get away, from the danger area... please do this soon, and don't return........... even if he says, it will never happen again, IT WILL!

Yes, absolutely. You have a right to be free to live where ever you please. Do you really want to give up your freedom and your dignity for someone whom you don't want to live with anyway (otherwise, you wouldn't be talking about moving out)? Talk to the police, for your own safety. Even if you stay with him, do you trust him not to harm you?
